my name was Lexus/Lexi (with my 3rd mom), for some unknown reason. i can't imagine anyone thinking i look like a Lexi, so my new and forever mom named me a bean. 1/2 jujube, 1/2 jellybean. i think it suits me.

Chili Bean

Hi, thanks for the invitiation fellow "beans". My mom found me in a shelter. Identified as a 12 week old "terrier mix". She knew better, I was a 4 week old Australian Cattle Dog. She adopted me right away because not too many people know what cattledogs are like. Even though I was technically too young to be "sold" in Ohio, she says that it was necessary to save me.

My color is unusual, it's called chocolate and I was almost named Cocoa Bean. Trouble is, cattledogs are pretty spicy dogs. So there were two alternate names. Chili Spice or Chili Powder, and mom thought they were too feminine. Then she thought of Chili Bean. That's perfect, because my color is like a dark red Kidney Bean (stupid name huh?) but because Chili has that great reddish dark color and Spicy flavor just like me.. I ended up as Chili Bean. I'm just hot and spicy enough too. And nope, nobody ever calls me a little fart either.

my mommy said that she named me Bean because the first time she put me on the floor to walk around at the pet store, I reminded her of a Mexican jumping bean because I didn't walk, I hopped around. And two years later, I still don't walk, I hop hop hop around. Maybe I'm part bunny smile

Hi Josie beans here thank you for the invite!! Mom named me Josie for the movie Outlaw Josey wales but because I was so cute and small she added the beans and it just kinda stuck. she calls me beans or beansie more then Josie lately. I just love it.

my mummy wanted a bullie but was afraid to get one b/c of all of the health issues, etc., so she was thinking about a boston terrier. my daddy originally wanted a doxie. daddy was going to call the hot dog dog frank, so mummy was going to call the boston beans. together they would be frank n beans. however, plans changed. mummy decided that she wanted a bullie and got me, mr. boston baked beans, beans for short. daddy ended up with a mischievous pug, frankie the bull. .... and the rest is history! smile

Bean- {1991-2007}

Hey, pay- attention to ME!

I hopped around a lot because of my bad leg (which was later amputated), so my humans called me Jumping Bean at first. My name mutated into Butterbean, Grean Bean, Jellybean, and then ended up as just plain Bean. When my humans don't want me to know they're talking about me, they call me Frijolita (Spanish for little bean). Us Beans are just cute!
