Off Leash Dog Parks in NW burbs

Hello everyone!

We are in Des Plaines and going to move out to Wood Dale soon. Does anyone know of any off-leash dog parks in the area? I'd prefer not to drive out to the city. I'd like to go somewhere close enough that I could take Xena on a week night.

Just an update--we have moved to Wood Dale and found a free off-leash dog park within walking distance! It is located on Wood Dale Rd, just south of Irving Park Rd. Most of the dogs are BIG dogs, but they are all very friendly! Hope to see some of you there!
