Hey everybody, just though I'd tell you a bit about our foster puppy.
His name is Boomer, the old owners said that he is a Bullmastiff/Boxer mix, but he clearly is Black and Tan Coonhound.
Other thoughts on him have been doberman, and great dane. I thought that maybe he was one of those too until I found a picture of a dog named Freddy from the Ontario hound rescue (located in North Bay). I saved this picture of Freddy quite a while ago (he has since been adopted), but Boomer and Freddy are almost identical. The only difference with them is Boomers head, his ears stick out in a strange way and his head is thicker around the muzzle. But no one really seems to be convinced that he is a hound (he even howls like one!). Some people even say Rotti, even though he has a tail and does NOT have a Rotti body at all.
He is mostly black with brown "eyebrows" and muzzle, he has brown feet as well. He has a white throat that goes right up to his chin and a white patch on his back.
I would post a picture of him, but our camera was stolen so I cannot, sorry.
But he is adorable, at 5 months old now, I wish I could keep him but my parents do not trust the Bullmastiff breed and he is going to be very large. He is going on his extended visit this weekend.

Well, Boomer has left a few hours ago. I doubt I'll ever see him back in this house again. But the home he is going to is good.
