hey do you think we should send the petition to congress? it's just an idea, but they're the law people so maybe they could pass a law or something. how many signatures would we need?

Maybe shortdog can change the settings so cats can join,too. I guess if we plan to send it to Congress we need a huge number of signatures, what do you guys think? I 'll try to come up with something the petition could say later today, though I am not the most talented writer ;-). There are so many people on dogster and catster we should have no problem getting signatures. Let's make a difference!

Thanks! I feel bad I hven't gotten around to it. well great, then let's get some ideas together.

Should we also mention how puppymills are a horrible place to proper socialize any dog? With so much BSL stuff going on maybe it would not be bad to point out what can help to prevent dogs from going nuts.
Do we want the general tone to be emotional or maybe use statistics, if there are any we could use out there, to prove a point?
Just some basic things we should all agree on.

I suggest we try to get many more members, but maybe not until we have something written down because with too many different opinions it might just take forever.

Hello! I'm new! Momma's trying to stop puppy mills. She had a fundraiser at her school to raise money for the Stop Puppy Mill's Campagin that the Humane Society of the US has!
