Talker, Dakota used to howl in his sleep every once in a while. He would wake everyone up but never wake up himself.  Sorry, but I find you peeing in the boutique funny!
Oh Denny, it is SO tough when the pawrents have to find a new spot for us to live. Mom always say when one of them doesn't work out, it wasn't meant to be and that the PAWFECT place is out there just waiting to be walked into.
Molly...we hope your Momma is feeling MUCH better soon. I wonder  if Boo will ever lift his leg being surrounded by all you girls?
Patan...we're sending many to your Momma and hoping she can find a job that makes her happy soon.
Momma had a terrible time with Apache when he was always pooping bad..he would even poop blood.
She made a "poop journal" on him and brought that in to the vet each time. She had to mark down what he ate, what was going on in his life and what each poop looked like! She did it for three months and they tried different drugs on him too. First just flagyl which made his poops fine while he was on it but once he went off they got bad again. Then they had to do prednisone and added azulfidine (sp?) They finally were able to wean him off the prednisone and got his diet fixed so that he rarely has flare-ups. if he does, he just gets some azulfidine which helps clear it up pretty fast.
Momma can't add anything new to his diet..even treats... without doing it a little bit at a time and only adds something new if it is absolutely necessary (as it was when he got fanconi). He gets a spoonful of WD canned...a spoonful of canned Before Grain (for his fanconi) Lamb & Rice Limited ingredient kibble and a piece of boiled chicken breast for his meals. She also has to keep his life as stress free as possible...for the poopy thing and his fanconi.
I went running on Sunday and Momma has been making me go back up on the show table. It isn't too bad right now, I get treats every time I get up there and no one touches me much. Yesterday some guy even let me have some of his oatmeal while I stood on the table! |  |  | |  |
