Daisy, so sorry you have food allergies.
Grandma used to always make the turkey (and it was soooo yummy) for our family but she passed away last year. Mama said she isn't good in the turkey department, whatever that means!  Mama, daddy & hooman bro will go to Kelly's Country Kitchen for a homecooked turkey. They really serve a great Thanksgiving meal....and no work for mama. She really likes that part. They will bring some home, too, for sandwiches later and even a little for me, too.

Why doesn't your dad want to go to grandma's? 
I can't have the mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes because they have milk and butter. 
- so they are short $700 in bills this month. (Sigh) Mom is finally understanding that they really should not go. Gas alone would be about $150. So we will just save up to go for Christmas. We are going to mom's aunt in SD for dinner. But actually probably I will have to stay
