	Hi everyfur! I wanted to let you all know that Pen Paws is also on Facebook. I know a lot of us use Facebook & I have found that it's an easy way to send updates for when we do rounds, or for important updates etc. It is a "closed" group, which means not just anyone on Facebook can post to it. So if you or your human is on Facebook drop by the group! Here is a link to it: http://www.facebook.com/groups/146704105423116/ Since it is a closed group I think you can request membership, or if you are friends with any member already in there you can send them a note to join. Of course you can also post here if you'd like & we will get you added asap. It's just that so many members have left catster but still want to be active in Pen Paws. This is a way we can connect with both.

	We hopes that that won't be the main place where things ish posted because we ish furry much a non Facebook using family - Meowmy hates it (understatement), killed her page years ago, and I hash a tiny page there only sho we can shtore my and Roger's photos online shomewhere in case shomething ever happens to our confuser. 	Hi Humphrey & Macy! No Pen Paws will ALWAYS be here on Catster. We just have the group on facebook too since so many of our two-leggers use it a lot. The main reason being since so many are spending more time on Facebook & catster seems to keep getting fleas & running some kitties off completely, we thought this would be a good way to stay in touch with everyfur that wants to be a member. Mom can post an update, like when a round starts or ends & everyone in that group will see it automatically. Most check their FB more often than catster, so it's a great tool. I have to admit that Pen Paws is just about the only reason I'm still on catster at all. There has just been so much stuff go on over the past year & then someone bought catster & dogster & it just doesn't hold the same appeal. But we've been on here for years & we are not ready to say goodbye. MOL I would miss my furfriends way to much! I know when Margo left catster she still wanted to be part of Pen Paws. So we email with updates & such. She too does not like Facebook at all. So she doesn't play there. We understand because you do end up sharing a lot about yourself that you don't really think about. That could make it easy for someone to invade your privacy. While mom takes a lot of precautions she knows the only way to be 100% safe from that is not to be on there. But she is sucked in by the games & the ease of chatting with her friends & family. But as I said Pen Paws will always be here. I know it's been pretty slow lately but I'm hoping it's because Summer is ending & school starting back so folks are still fairly busy. Maybe once Autumn gets into swing more will come back.
