	mazy stays back about 5 ft. from the stove in her micro suede bed or sitting in corner on the heat register.... just her... get that pesty cat Precious out of the way and you are good to go..... gpa is splitting some small pie pumpkins for me to cook,puree and freeze. given to us. pumpkin in the can has doubled here since last year..... baking this afternoon on the list of Holiday stuff still to do... good day for it with the high winds.......and only 30's limping along with old PC until the new 1 is repaired. glad we have the old 1 here but makes things real slow....uses up our dogster time quickly

	We all lie around the kitchen floor when there's food around.Even Echo has joined in! I lie between mommy and da oven, and she has ta reach over me ta cook!Mommy thinks it's really neat ta have us all lying dere when it's cold outside.Kinda cozy.She always wanted a fireplace in da kitchen!

	would love a fireplace... but no place to put 1 in this house. of course, then we'd have the chore of removing the ashes but sure could burn up alot of dead wood in the shelterbelts. How are Maizy and Jax's doing?????????? got our picture cards today. yippy! spent better part of yesterday and today baking cookies. Only 1 cookie left to bake, the Monster Cookies..... have to frost Sugar Cookies. We have to make several batches of caramel corn...Gpa helps with this prject. Gma has trouble pouring the HOT caramel on the popcorn. Had to go buy a new washer...Gpa is going to pick it up tomorrow. get it hooked up. So we can catch up on our laundry. Other 1 went south on the 23rd. Skiff of snow yesterday. low 4 tonight is 11. our sister-in-law had minus52 in Alaska this week.
