	Daisy's Mombot and Dad went out to Colombia for a couple of weeks and when they returned they discovered she had been hit by a car the day before they returned. The pet sitting service took her for a walk on a very busy street, which they were not supposed to do. Daisy slipped her collar and got hit. Fortunately, the main damage is to her back right foot, but there are dislocations of metatarsal bones and one of them looks like it has become a lot of little fragments. The vet says Monday they may do surgical repair and amputate one of the toes. The wound on the foot exposes bone and the daily bandaging has to be done by the vet because it has to be done with anesthesia. Apparently, the pet sitter people said they don't have to pay for their negligent behavior. Mombot is very upset about all of this. The peeps went over to the vets as soon as they got home and brought Daisy home. She had a so-so night--but better than being at the vet's.

	I had to stay at the vet's tonite. Dr. Beth thinks that I have an infection and she might need to change my antibiotic and change the dressing on my foot during the nite. I didn't feel so great today.
