There are two kinds of PEOPLE, which are you? Happy or Grumpy?

One type wake to greet the new day with, " Good Morning,Lord!"

the other with "Good Lord, It's Morning!"

The 1st. is Positive and Willing to Embrace the New Day. The 2nd. is Negative and Filled with Apprehension.

Our Christian Journey through this world should not be a Burden, but a Joyful Journey. Our Attitude is So Important in Our Walk and Our Daily Lives.

Have You Ever watched your day go from Bad to Worse? Only to Find that Your Attitude was the Problem? I'm flesh and bone and far from perfect.....I certainly have fallen into this trap!

So, when you find yourself in this less than Joyful Mode...What do you do, to pull yourself out of it?

Weather permitting, I go outside, sit and chat with Jesus. Listen to the sounds of nature. Country life has some perks, as far as hearing things, you do not hear, in the busy city. I will also put on some of my favorite praise and worship music. Listen quietly, pray and refocus myself. The outcome of an entire day, can be changed by an extra few moments spent with God.

Monitoring our Attitude is part of our Spiritual Growth.

We Popped in here to Try and Add to How to Greet Your Day.... Dayzee, had this Powerful 5 fingered prayer on Dayzee's Soul Food ... In case you missed it, we have posted it here, also.
If, you haven't been reading Dayzee's Soul Food Posts, we encourage you to Pop over and check them out....

.........................................5 FINGER PRAYER...............................................

I had never heard this before. This is beautiful - and it is surely worth making the 5 finger prayer a part of our lives.

1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a 'sweet duty.'

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray enough for them.

5... And lastly comes our little finger

- the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, 'The least shall be the greatest among you.' Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

ANOTHER GOOD WAY TO START AND END THE DAY.... The 5 finger prayer.....

There is a 2nd. piece from Dayzee below...( it copied and pasted with the other piece. That's says to me, the Lord wants others to read the piece). Trusting, Our Lord Jesus to Meet All Our Needs ...All the Time...100%... is easier said, than done...
As we grow in Our Walk with the Lord , We learn to Trust Him...A process of building Our Faith.......

Your ears will hear a voice . . . saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Isaiah 30:21 (NIV)

My granddaughter Isabelle Grace is learning to walk. She’s done the usual things to prepare: pulled herself up, tiptoed her way around furniture, walked with her tiny hands secure in adult ones. But the other night she did it. She walked from her dad to her mom. Then from me to her PaPa. Again and again. We clapped and cheered every time she successfully covered the territory between us. But when we enlarged the space and tried for longer distances, she sat down and began to scoot.

When it comes to walking, Isabelle is still a bit tentative. If someone she loves is waiting with open arms, she toddles across the floor with sure-footed confidence. She feels safe heading for a familiar harbor. But if you try to launch her out into the deep water of the living room, scoot alert!

I can understand how Isabelle feels. Sometimes it’s hard for me, too, to keep walking. Life’s path is filled with pebbles, stones that either trip me up or find their way into my shoe. The hills are steep. And way too much of the trek has to be done in the dark. The urge to stop—to sit, hunker down, scoot—is strong. But something else is stronger: the pull of God’s loving arms reaching for me, the confident voice that says, “This is the way. Walk in it!”

So like Isabelle Grace, I dust myself off and, balancing briefly to get my footing, I step out in faith. Someone Who loves me is waiting with open arms for my safe arrival. All I have to do is keep walking.

Thank You, Father, for setting me on my feet . . . again and again and again.

This will take several days to share this..... We do pray, we will have some responses from our readers. Recently, attened the annual ladies Agricultural Night. Part of that evening was a program on how to Live Life without hardening your heart. ( The lady who does this program is called Mrs. Giggles.... but her Life has been filled with heartache and trials. She has taken her Faith and rose above all of the tradegies. She has chosen to not let personal issues destory her or make her bitter in life. Instead, she spends her time helping others. ) Jesus called His Sheep to Pick up their Cross and Follow Him. He NEVER said, the Road in Life is Easy. He did say, He would always be with us. He would provide us strength when we are weak. He would light the way.

We will just leave a Peek today of what this is All about. In a nutshell is comes back to Our Attitudes.

1. Mondays are for Compliments
2. Tuesdays are for Flexibility
3. Wednesdays are for Gratitude
4. Thursdays are for Kindness
5. Fridays are for Forgiveness
Weekends are for Chocolate......

Today is Tuesday..... Flexibility (Fur pals, I've been very Flexie, Today...One thing right after another has gotten in the way of my Desire to run out and enjoy the Sunshine. Tomorrow the weather is taking a rough turn.... While, I could go out alone....I'm a very interactive doxie.... I want company when I go out to play! SOOOOOOOO, I'll give you the just of Tuesday...then off to play.......I'll be back tomorrow to contine...) Grandma says, "Patience is what I have been practicing today." I'm young and still learning...Everyday for me, requires some new lesson. Also, Grandma said, an old dog can learn new tricks....Well, I'm not old...so she must be yapping about herself???? Her bag can use a few New Tricks so I don't get bored with my daily lessons....

Back to Tuesday is for
Flexibility: There is no laughter in being Stubborn. We all get set in our ways and yet it is a good thing to be open to new ideas. It can be more fun than being in a rut. An open mind lets Laughter in. (I know a thing or two about being stubborn...I'm a doxie....it's normal!)Tuesdays thought: " The tree that bends in the wind does not break."

Jesus rewarded me by being so patient today. He sent company our way. Oh my, Mazy does love her company! Grandma was thrilled, too! Neighbor had to deliver dinner to her men in the field where they are planting flax. She had to drive past our house to get there. Instead of rushing home and back to her work....She swung in, had coffee and a nice visit. Everyone had a great time....I got extra pats and attention.snoopy Grandma and her friend find today is a little brighter by having a break from their work. Plus a little time to Fellowship.

I think, Flexibility is a GOOD thing to Practice......way to go See ya tomorrow......cheercheercheer

We are still on attitudes .. if you are following along....

Wednesday is for GRATITUDE: A good way to feel miserable is to always think you need something better to make you happy. An attitude of gratitude brings serenity and laughter.

Wednesday's Thought: " As you go through life, let this always be your goal: Keep you eye upon the donut and not the hole!"

I've found a Big difference between happiness and joyfulness. Happiness ia affected by our outer circumstances. True inner joy doesn't disappear when we are faced with trials and tribulations.
The inner joy comes from the Holy Spirit sent to us by Jesus. When we find ourselves in a bad place we need to bring those issues to Jesus in prayer. Give it to HIM, as we do all our needs and concerns. When we leave our prayer time...resist the temptation to pick up our problems and take them with us. Let go and Let God take care of Us. This is exercising our trust and faith in Jesus to meet All our needs, no matter what.way to go

God Bless Each and Everyone of You,
Mazy and Grandma Keda

p.s.- put a big SMILE on your face and reach out to another. A single kind word does more than you will ever know. Remember the seeds you plant today are the flowers of tomorrow.

Very bad weather day with High winds! Sustained at 35-40 mph and gusts of 50 mph.......confused

So practicing Gratitude TODAY is especially difficult! This is a TEST! Mazy and I will spend our time trying to leave encouraging words for our fellow furpals and their families. We will read our group messages, pawmails and prayer requests. We will try and see what all our furpals have been doing. We will be Grateful that we have found all these wonderful connections here and made so many new friends. (It is possible that we can lose our rural power. It does happen sometimes when weather is like this. If, the weather gets to BAD .. we will just shut the PC down to protect it.)

Mazy hates the weather like this....about blows her to the next county. She could only stand
20 min. this morning before the wind really wound out.... So she is content to snuggle into a chair with a blanket. Hang out around here. Grandma hates it because it makes her arthritis and fibromyaliga so much worse. Adds to ones daily struggles..Keep oneself busy and this too shall pass.........Practice Gratitude...all day long!!!!!!

Days like today... are exactly why..... we worked so hard to train Mazy to use pee pads in bad weather or when left for extended time frame. Outside when weather co-operates. We are not straining her poor little kidneys. She hates hard wind on her tushy!kissing In the past we trained all our companions, so well that when the weather was bad...they would quit eating and drinking, until it improved. They wouldn't potty on a newspaper....they just wouldn't go... As they went down through their lives....this proved to cause all of them kidney/bladder issues in their elderly years. We just felt there had to be a better way.. in these harsher climates...

Mazy, Grandma and Grandpa have the Best of both Worlds this way....It is our desire as Mazy ages, she will not go through some of those other issues. When her caregivers are under the weather... she is still covered!

Sure Hope Everyone Else is having GOOD, Sunny, Nice, Springy DAY!!!... Take a few extra minutes outside for Mazy!!!!way to gowavewink Hugs and Kisses to All

Rain is in the forcast now.... Grandma has to be gone tomorrow ...won't let me use the PC with her gone..... Says it is a little Fussy.... and she doesn't want to buy new yet.... She tells the grandkids the same thing....She has to supervise our activities....shrug

(so we are posting Thursday part of the current piece on Attitudes)

THURSDAYS are for KINDNESS:
Think of ways to help make the other person's life a little easier. Simple kindness may be the most vital key to the riddle of how human beings can live in peace with each other. Do their part to take care of the planet, we all share. Thursday's Thought: "The practice of Kindness
creates healthy relationships, community connections and inspires people to pass kindness on to others."

Have you ever noticed someone who's body language tells you they are not just in the toliet, but somebody flushed the toliet??????frown usually they don't look you in the eyes, their shoulders are slumped, their body just looks defeated..... A smile, a soft kind word, an ear to listen can turn that person's day totally around...Furpals are pack animals, but so are Human beings. We were Never designed by God to live as Hermits.....cut off from other People.... It would Amaze many people to know just how many retreat into their own private world because no one cared about them. It is heartbreaking to watch someone put themselves on a shelf and let the world and life go right on by without them. Go out and SPREAD A LITTLE KINDNESS! It is a free gift..........so give it away freely...........kissing spread some Love, wherever your week takes you.....You will be surprised at how much Joy you will feel in your Spirit....little angel God Bless Each and Everyone of You!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is Friday...FRIDAYS are for FORGIVENESS: Forgiveness means letting go of ANGER. Find a way to see those who have hurt you in a new light of compassion. Releasing Anger makes you healthier and opens up room in your heart for more laughter. Friday's thought: "I never hold a grudge because while I am being angry the other guy may be out dancing."(quote is from Buddy Hackett, comedian)

Forgiveness was something, I've had to Work Very, very hard on.....It is true you are much healthier, if you let go of Anger. When I held on tightly to Anger....I found My spirit wasn't able to connect with the LORD as easily. This hampered my Christian Growth. I was also being disobedient to Jesus by not forgiving.

Mark 11:25- (1 of many scriptures on forgiveness) "When ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in Heaven may forgive your trespasses."little angel

Today is Saturday we have 2 sections left here on Attitudes....Weekends and Monday. Monday because we started this on a Tuesday. We will do Weekends and Monday, Now... A re-cap we will post either Sunday or Monday. (Then we will go on to whatever God Gives us...)

WEEKENDS ARE FOR CHOCOLATE: Remember to eat some chocolate or any other favorite food. Remember to take time for leisure, pleasure and relaxation. Weekend Thought: "A bad day fishing beats a good day working." We need time to recharge from the World. We should be saving sometime, everyday for that. The BEST way to Recharge is to spend some solitary time with Jesus in your private place....That place can be anywhere ....For me, there are no worldly things getting in my day or pulling me away from the LORD.: out on the Open Prairie... that is my private fellowship time...I treasure that time with Jesus. My attitudes towards the world and everything in it....are greatly affected by the time I spend with my Savior. If, I do not feed my spirit, then my spirit weakens and my Christian journey is disrupted.

Grandma loves her chocolate and doesn't save it just for weekends. The only part of Mrs. Giggles Attitude program that nagged at our Spirit was: I didn't see a place where spending Extra Time with God, fell into the weekend. Majority of people have many more commitments during the week, than on weekend. Unfortunately, many Christians hurry through their time with God....thinking I'll spend more time, later. (some do and man do not)

God provided mankind a day of rest. It is important to fellowship with our Lord Jesus, each and everyday. Prayer, praise, worship time and spending time with other Christians. Part of the REST from our physical labor, should always be fellowship with Christ. Reguardless of the day of the week.

MONDAYS ARE FOR COMPLIMENTS: This overcomes our tendency to critize and be judgmental of others, which robs us of laughter. (Personally, I find this behavior, when I slip into the fleshly mode, robs me of my inner peace. This is because God convicts me... that I am not behaving as a Christian).
Look for Good in Others and Tell them about it. You might just end up laughing together.....
Monday's Thought: " A kind word often goes unspoken, but never goes unheard."

It is my sincere Hope and Prayer, that some of the words here on Attitudes are Helpful in your daily walk as a Christian. May God Bless Each and Everyone of You, Mazy and Grandma Kedalittle angel
