	I bin attacked by mountain cedar. an inhalant allergy. i'm all broke out in the crook of my neck, behind my ears, top of my head and back of my neck. but crook of my neck is the worst. they shaved me in the crook, gave me a shot of ... whatchamacallit, and gave Mom pills and gook to put on me. so now i'm a mess. they've ruined my hair, my neck is red an swolled, they've gooked me up, and i'm gettin PILLED. it is so unfair, i wasn't botherin the mt. cedar. ennypuppers else had this problem? enny suggestions? ..or does mom have it covered?

	Oh so sorry Ko Min! Hope the medicine is helping, is there a lot of Mt Cedars around? Dang it! I got the itchies a few months ago, Mom has me on benadryl, the vet wants to try and keep me off the steriods for now. Works pretty well and I don't get sleepy either. 	Thanks Buster, Yeah, mom an my vet aren't crazy bout steroids either, but like last year, I scratched it so bad i really needed a break to let it heal. so we hadda do it. but it wuz a lite dose, only about 48 hours worth, the pills are s'pozeta help after that, and the gook is a antiotic. yeah, mountain cedar is a BIG problem here, in San Antonio, for allergy sufferers. the spores are arrow shaped, they go in and get stuck. but evidently it's the worst in January, and this year is a bad year for it. Last year they hadn't put it together, but now it's obvious, so mom has now put in her calendar, to pop up every year, "JAN 1st, start looking for Ko Min's scratching", so we can get medicine BEFORE i tear myself up.

	So sorry, Ko MIn! We don't have that stuff in Colorado...we're high and dry. But I did have itchies when I was young. I was helped by daily fish oil.

	Thanks Cosmo. mama just started poppin open a fish oil capsule into my food last night. I sure hope it helps. can't even wear my collar. good thing i've got a harness. it would kill me to have to give up my walks. mom thinks something must be working tho, she's only seen me try to scratch once today, so she's real hopeful. we need a itchin/scratchin emoticon...

	Poor Ko Min Me takes benedryl fur my itchies & sneezes too...dunno what causes it yet but about twiced a week Mama manages to jam one ob them dang pills down me froats

	awww... poor girl. I know how you feel, i had the watery eyes too, which wuz a first for me, i never had teary eyes before. mom tried the benedryl on me. That wuz a no go, just made me sleepy an then i'd wake up long enuff to scratch the heck out of myself. mama sez i look like i got the chicken pox from all my scratchin. i wus just real worried about gettin pilled, cuz i HATE pills, an always find em in the cheeze an spit em out an then we have a big struggle. but i guess mom felt sorry for me, cuz instead of pillin me, she bin givin me a half a vienna sausage twice a day! no complaints here, 'cept they're gone too fast. 'corse she makes me do somethin for em, sit, stay, crawl, bow... sumpin like that, but i don't mind, cuz they are mmm mmm GOOD! an sure beats gettin pilled. i'm so glad she changed her mind. 'sides, i obviously dint NEED it, i'm beginnin to heal up and i've pretty much stopped itchin. ((if you get sick enuff, mebbe your mom will give you some vienna sausage too)) i dunno, mebbe it's a home remedy...
