Thank you Killi. I bookmarked that page. I haven't actually downloaded elements yet. After I load it then I download zip7 from this website right? i actually don't understand the whole thing about zip. What is it actually. Do I possibly have something on the mac (which I have the up todate software) that reads zips? Well if you don't mind giving me a little understanding about the subject that would be great. Also after that any other advice? I would like to start with playing around making christmas scrap for my page main photo. So I guess after the two downloads I just download a free xmas scrap and go from there? thanks!

Yes, Zebra, you will need some type of Zip/unzip program for your Mac. I don't have a Mac but let me see if I can find something for you.

Zip Genius

Here's the site to download what I have. Not sure if they have a Mac version, but it popped up on a key word search. Mac is there listed but the site is too smart and knows I don't have a Mac. It won't let me see the list!laugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loud

I like Zip Genius because it's super easy, reads and unzips a multitude of file extensions and works great! But I think everyone has a favorite! Norman posted a link to another Zip program as well that you might want instead. They are all free so never pay for one!

This site I gave you also has a lot of smaller programs you may want in the future. Again, you'll have to see if they are Mac compatible. I have Water Mark from these people as well as I enter a lot of contests and don't want my photos stolen. eek

So, if this doesn't work for you just let me know. I have tons more!

I have not used Zip 7 but I have heard it's pretty good and if Photoshop recommends it, you may want to get Zip 7.

After that, download a freebie Christmas Kit, you will have to unzip that as well. All files comes zipped!laugh out loud

I make my backgrounds for my pages 1050 X 655. So when you get to that point let me know. There is a group called Pawsome Pages if you are not familiar, that gives you all kinds of information on coding for Dogster.
