Everyone seems to say that Fox Terriers are 5/5 on the energy scale. . Not Mine! She is one pup that just wants to be held and held. Does anyone else experience this?

We got her back in May. Sort of rescue- she bounced from home to home. Shes such an angel. But she doesn't play with toys or anything like that. Its strange. . . but we love her anyway!

Hi Annabelle, sorry I didn't get to you sooner. The reason is we adopted a rescue Cairn terrier named Annie. This, among other things, has made life around here rather hectic.
Unlike all of our other dogs which we got directly from the home they were born in, Annie is a resue. Rescues are very wanting when it comes to affection. Imagine if you had been bounced around as a child, you would love to have some sort of stability, someone you could count on and love. Usually, rescues haven't had any toys of their own and don't know what it is to play with them let alone humans or other dogs. It takes time and patience on your part so hang in there and keep us posted. way to go
