I just got off the phone with Mickey. Regena has her family at her side, but as you can imagine she is scared to death and worrying about her life, the dogs and what is going to happen next. The good news is that Regena can speak and her mind is sharp.
Another CAT scan has been done but the results are not back yet.
Mickey will try to post when he can. At the moment he is busy taking care of things at home for Regena. The dogs need somebody to comfort them as they are freaking out that their Mom has been taken from them.
I know you are all worried, as am I. We shall all keep Regena in our prayers and be there to support for her during this difficult time.
Please feel free to crosspost this in other groups so we can keep everybody updated.

Thank you so much for the update. We are so worried about her and her babies. I am so glad she has Mickey to help her. Its good that she can speak and her mind is sharp. Thanks for the update and for setting up this forum so we can stay in touch. This has been a bumpy year for a lot of reasons, and we're pawraying real hard that Regina is able to make a recovery and be home with her darling furries real soon.

Just spoke to Regena on the phone and she sounds great. She does have a hard time moving on one side but can when she concentrates. Her mind is still sharp as a tack. Hasn't lost that great sense of humor either. She even spoke to daddy for a minute. She does have C-Scans scheduled and something to check her heart. I am just so excited she sounds so great. She is at Norman Regional Hospital in OK room 3054.

This is great news...and now I can go to sleep and rest alittle easier. Keeping the prayers going and the POTP!!!!! Rio....resting his head down and saying a quiet prayer for his friend.hughughughug

mommy made Dad stop and find a computer ( were on holidays) so we could check up on aunt Regena,we are so happy that she is improving and has her family by her side,

Update - Monday, 11:30 Massachusetts time

Just spoke with Uncle Mickey - Regena is having more tests today. One test is to see if she has a possible hole in her heart which will have to be dealt with before proceeding to additional treatment. She was able to move her right hand about 6 inches and is talking well. She is very frightened but being well taken care of. Her family is still surrounding her. She knows many are praying for her and asks that we continue our prayers.

The pups are very sad, nervous and scared but Mickey is ensuring they feeled loved and are being taken care of.

crycrycry We know she has to be very scared. Having a stroke has to be an awful experience. Thank you my brother for updating us. We are so thankful for all the updates and reports. We continue to pray very had for our Auntie Regena. POTP and prayers being sent her way. Rio....

heard she is doing well and is working very hard at therapy,they say a hole in her heart caused the stroke,and she has 3 months of hard therapy to get her back to where she washug
