Good luck to your mommy on her second interview! It's a very good sign! They like her and she's being considered for the job. She may need to interview with some higher ups in the company and answer tougher questions. She needs to really shine in this interview and convince them that SHE's the one they want to hire and perfect for the job.

It's also a good opportunity for your mommy to get a better feel for the company and determine if she really wants to work for them. My mommy was offered a job a few months ago after a second interview. It was during the second interview that mommy picked up negative vibes but she ignored them and took the job anyway. The job was a disaster and she left after a few weeks. The lesson mommy learned is never ignore warning bells or take a job when you sense something is off about the company or you think they may be lying to you in some way, no matter how desperate you are!

Good luck! Keeping my paws crossed and hope the interview goes well and she gets the job!

Hi Max,
Sure, we have some tips for your Mom on interviewing.
Always see what you can find out about the company. There are lots of online resources - Linkedin, their own website, Hoovers.com, guidestar.org (for non-profits).
Come with a list of questions. One that I like to ask is - If you could change one thing about the company culture, what would it be?
Or simply - "What keeps you up at night".
Take notes, and address their stated problem in your thank you note.
Always express interest in the job before you leave and ask for next steps.
Please let us know how you do on that. I belong to a few online groups that share tips, so if you need anything else just send me a paw mail and we'll send you the links.
Paws are firmly crossed foryou!
