I had an interview this morning with Target for a cashier and I should hear by Friday if I get the job or not --and they'll even let me work full time!

Lots of purr luck Marzipan. Hope it works out.

Momma applied for Target last year, but didn't get the job frown

Momma might have sort of a job. She ran into a ex-coworker that is having a hard time physically and is looking into a cleaning service to help with the house. Well, mom can do that, so he might just skip the cleaning service and use Mom! A little $$$ is better than non at all.

Big purrs to you Marzipan and Icebox!!!

We are sending good wishes and happy thinks!!

For our part, here, mom did NOT get the job at the vets, and the lady who said she would call did not. That is not nice, no not nice at all. And she just missed out on another one where our neighbor works - seems the supervisor was given 3 whole days to find someone because the boss was going on vacay for a month. But mom DID talk to that lady, and she was very nice.

Mom knows something good is coming....even though some days she doesn't believe it too much. Everything happens for a reason. Ok, the reason might really suck at the time, but eventually it will all shake out.
hug y'all!

applause That's what the human always says too. Life travels in waves we need the downs to have the ups. Or life will be boringthinking but would boring be good toothinking Anyway when things aren’t going too well she always says she can't wait for the corner to turn, Happy times to come happy dance It has too, it seems to be life.
I'm sorry about the job, I found the Vet nursing field hard to get into, that's why I had to volunteer my time for a while before I got a job. Actually I learnt more volunteering than I did working. When I volunteered I was able to be in the consult room and see the problems and hear the answers but when I was working… I had to stay on the counter, clean the kennels, get ready for surgery, monitor surgery, clean up after surgery, answer phones then home. You didn't get to hear much about the animals problems and what’s wrong unless the vet discussed it with you.
