Here's what her furever Momma said in an email today:
"Kia has been licking under her tail alot lately. Today she was in bed so I got the flashlight and looked to see what what was going on. Under her tail, right near her butt there was a lima bean size growth. It was pink and looked hard. I called the vet and got in within the hour. He said it is a Mast tumor which could be nothing or be cancerous.
He tried to take some fluid to send to the lab to check it out, but after he took the needle out he only had a very small amount (about the grain of rice) and said he would not send that in and save us money. He is going to remove the tumor tomorrow morning at 11 by using a local anesthetic. He will send that to the lab and if it is cancerous, they will probably remove her tail.
Please keep her in your prayers that it is nothing serious. "
I'n so worried about my little buddy. Thank you so much fur sending her some pawrayers an' love.
