As I wait on the starting line
happy and pert and feeling fine
I listen for my mom to say OK
so I can run my first course of the day.
Agility's our sport, we love to compete
mom says training a terrier was really a feat.
What she doesn't know is that I trained HER
and now she can run like us who have fur.
I spring into action as she lets me begin
It's time for us to have some fun once again.
Over, Over, WALK IT she cries
So I jump jump and run to where the dog walk lies.
As fast as I can I run it's length
it really doesn't take that much strength.
I'm smiling and happy, she's out of air
but she's acting like she doesn't care
On we run together, a team
it's more fun than I can dream.
To a tire, which I jump through
thats one thing thats so easy to do.
Then to the weave poles where I go to and fro
I do them as quick as my body will go.
YIPEE a tunnel is coming up fast
I will run though it like a blast
I see the judge, she's in my way
She better move... come what may!
She moves quite quickly it's a good thing too
because I zip into that tunnel that's blue.
Out I come my moms yelling TABLE
I jump on it, hoping it's stable.
It is and so I quickly go down
for if I don't my mommy might frown.
The judge, she counts down from five to one
I'll go to that A frame after she's done.
I climb and fly over the top so high
It's super fun, I won't lie.
The finish line is coming near
no mistakes so far, no faults to fear.
As mom yells BIG OVER loudly to me
I jump real far over the 3 bars that I see.
Guess what? We won! A blue ribbon and cookies!
That's my paycheck for making mom so happy.
I'll wait around until it's time once more
To show everyone why agility's what we adore.
Go ahead why not give it go -
