KISS ME IM IRISH

Kiss me I'm Irish is a saying I hear
In the month that St. Patricks day is near
So that day I wear my green bandana
Shamrocks instead of that stupid Santa
My mommy thinks it's cute you see
Even though I feel like a big dummy
I wear an outfit each holiday
Mom thinks it make me look happy and gay
Im blind so I can't see
Really how silly I happen to be
Irish for a day it's OK
Soon I'll wear little bunnies for Easter Day
Happy dog, that's me, come what may.

Maybe -Treat me, I’m Irish,
Extra cookies would be nice.

I’ll also accept a bone,
Meaty and raw should suffice.

If you’d rather -
Run with me, I’m Irish.
In the woods and about.
Sounds much better than kissing,
Happier I’d be, no doubt. laugh out loud

Kiss me I'm Irish, is what her t-shirt said,
I happily obliged her and she hit me in the head!
So is she really Irish or did she get that shirt on sale?
Sorry if I offended you, but how was I to tell?


Meself, I'm partly Irish-- On me Mothers side,
Even though me Dad is German-- I wear the green with pride.

I asked the wee lass her name and here's how she replied,
"Me name is Rosie O'Sullivan-- you know it means dark eyed.

I did not mean to strike you, you caught me by surprise,"
Rosie took my paw in hers and said " I apologize."
I have kissed the Blarney Stone and have an eloquent way of speaking,
Suddenly Rosie realized, I was just what she was seeking.(so)
Here's to me, and here's to you,And here's to love and laughter, I'll be
true as long as you and not one moment after!

blue dog Hello everyfur! I just joined your group with my angel brother, Murphy and would like to try my paw at a little poem:

KISS ME I'M IRISH

Kiss me I’m Irish, or whatever you wish
Me to be~ for I really do so love a kiss.
By now I’m an expert, I kiss everyone
Kissing for me, is blissful dog fun!
Now some pups avoid it, like a bath or the vet
But I like em long, and I like ‘em wet!
It’s my favorite way to show you my love
I just love when my tongue fits your face like a glove.
Sometimes I know I get carried away
Enough, that’s enough! Now and then you will say
But you know and I know, that you love it, too
So here's a big kiss that I'm sending to you!
MUAAAHHH!!!

Super slobbery and full of drool
So many kisses I look like a fool
Mommy likes them, not everyone does
Especially if I'm giving them "JUST BECAUSE"
I like to kiss on holidays
Many times it really pays
I'll get a treat and a big thank you
Right after someone has said KERCHEW
I'm not picky I'll kiss you all
So what if you are 9 feet tall?
