	We have been gone from here for 144 days....oh my!! How much we've missed you all! I, mommy, have just read every single poem posted in this Thread!! OH MY!! These, my dear fur pals (and pawrents) need to be published in a Pet Poetry Book!! What a talented group of poets!! So it's 2009. Are we ready for some action? 	We've been out too for a bit...Mommy was bery busy, the human kit was sick, and now we've moved and FINALLY gotten internet back! Hooray! Good grief, after the teeming Incidents of late, ack! Verily, we say in tones near-screaming "Endow the kitties with snacks!" Must we constantly quibble Each day about only kibble? Tiredly, we ask again and again, Regarding the right to obtain Edibles of fish, chicken, or bacon. Alas! Still none, to be sure... Thinking of a splendid cure Such as a hairball on something yours! evil grin

	WE missed you all SO MUCH! Groveling, I don't like it, but will do it if I must, If I don't get those treats, I will surely bust. Very often I do a trick, Even though it makes me sick. Mom makes me beg, put on a show, Even though I hate it so. Tail is wagging, tongue hanging low, Reaching for the treats, I love so. Eat them with joy & beg for more, Although I think begging is a bore. Thank you Mom, I say with a lick, Savor those treats and eat 'em quick

	Get up on my little hind feet. I 'll beg if I must-give me a treat. Very pretty- I paw the air. Even though it isn't fair. Making me beg is so demeaning Eyes on the treat- my tummy screaming. Turn around like a dancing clown. Running in circles--throw it down! Even as I prance for you. And do the tricks you taught me to do, Thinking I just want that snack, So give it to me 'fore I attack.
