	Does anyone else have a hard time learning down? I, of course, have known down fur furever! My mom is trying to teach my new sister, Buffy, and Buffy won't do it! Mom has tried putting Buffy in a sit and then guiding the treat down, and has tried bending her leg and trying to get Buffy to go under, but in weeks Mom has only gotten her to do it on her own 2 times! Mom even tried guiding her gently into the down, but to no avail. Can someone please help us?

	I think that you should try putting the treat very close to the ground and your newest addition can sniff it for a long time. They don't get the treat, however, until they lay down. With me, mama was a new trainer and her friend recommended to just lay us down theirselves until I got it. I didn't like that and Mama feels bad now, but it's okay.

	Does anyone know how to get me to stop barking so much....mommy says I bark at the littlest of things I even bark at her when she comes in the door from work Not sure what to do to reduce the barking.

	Thanks Annie I will tell Mom. Lil Lady, our trainer told us to do noise aversion. So mom got a bke horn and everytime we get real crazy barking she honks the horn, it surprises us and we look at her and then she tells us to come in or another command to distract us.

	I say get tell your Mama to get you to bark and then she'll say "Quiet" or "Enough" or something. If you quiet down, TREATS! You should catch on soon enough. If you do the sound thing, be sure to not say anything or make eye contact, though, because that could make the pooch fear the owner. Hope this helps! ~Annie~
