	Well in this thread we will be following the the happy couple as they move forward toward the big day. As you all know on New Years Eve Nick Dachshund asked Gretchen his long time girlfriend to marry him. Gretchen was so overcome with joy that it took a couple days for her to finally gain control of her emotions. Gretchen is now getting down to the task of searching for the perfect dress. this is goint to be a core as she is very much the diva. Uh, Nick are you sure about this?? I mean she is a girl with champange tastes. Well anyway mom is helping to find the perfect gown. Mom says gown first then we can worry about the rest. Mom knows it's gonna take a long time for Gretchen to find her dress. Stay tuned to the thread for updates on the engagment and how things are going for the happy couple.

	Now Cher You be nice to my little sister. This is a really big thing for her. Okay not much is going on right now. Mom is concentrating on finding a new job right now so all plans are on hold. Kinda like if mom don't find a job this wedding don't happen thing. Oh and Cher you are always harping on the listening to your elders thing. Well I say you need to take your own advice. This old gal is your elder by 4 Years. That's right I outrank you so take your own advice and listen to your elders. LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!!!!

	Nick and Gretchen have been engaged now for 2 months and at the moment things are quiet--mom is sick--we are looking into two or three designers for the dress. She is being picky but i guess i can accept that as this is her wedding afterall.

	Well today marks the one year anniversary of Nick asking Gretchen to go steady. The poor girl is beside herself with frustration as she can't seen to find the perfect dress, doesn't know what color scheme the wedding will be. She is really stressing at the moment. I keep telling her she has plenty of time, but you know brides they just never listen.
