Welcome to the Crystal Palace Mountain Lodge for Snowboarding and Skiing, or learning to snowboard or ski or just coming for the fireside warmth and entertainments and dining experiences.

This is where we come to PLAY!!! MUST have FUN No Fights of any kind!!!

Like a role playing game we play. Those who are familiar already know how adicting this becomes when you get a great group together. We start promptly at a set time and end at a set time usually the end time lingers longer however! Thats when you can develop your furendships much deeper!Here up North where it's FREEZING cold, we have the BEST HOT Drinks name the drink, I'm sure we will be able to make you some! The BEST most flavorful coffees and liquorers from all over the world come through here and you get to sample everything. (watch and see)

Now when it comes to the Top Dining the BEST Chiefs everywhere in the world know Santa, he can be in touch in seconds! So they can cook a special meal for you if you wish. Just let us know. Otherwise we have out experts make the meals of your lives.

The rest of the time please enjoy yourself at one of the many other delightful amenities we have.
Visit the Snow Globe Room also! Let the Elves show you around and feel free to play with any toys you find! We encourage it !!! laugh out loud

Head over to the Snack bar for popcorn, cotton candy, lolly pops, candy canes, sugar plums, gingerbread cookies and oh so many many other yummy delights if a sit down dinner isn't what your hungry for.dancing

Hi everyfur well I know the day is for Voting but when you are done come on up to the BEST place to snowboard and ski and to learn how to just that. Lets play in the snow.

Get a board you feel comfertable with. I suggest you rent a board for first time. Take a lesson from a paid teacher on the hill for your first time to add to the experience.
Also, no matter what, you will fall ! Do not try to learn too fast, you do not want to hurt someone on accident. There are key things you have to know before the first trip down the slopes. They are :

1. Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
2. People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
3. You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
4. Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
5. Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
6. Observe all posted signs and warnings.
Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas. OK
7. Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.

maybe lets go over that stuff for anyone who isn't sure how to do it.way to go

Clothing and safety
Since you aren't holding onto poles, you will tend to put your hands in the snow more than when skiing. Water resistant gloves or gloves which have a rubberized inner surface are better. You will also like longer boarder's gloves they are better than shorter skier's gloves since they tend to keep the snow out of the gap between the jacket and the gloves.
