	Something interesting to consider. You can train a Service Dog for Diabetes. They are scent trained to detect low blood sugar from a chemical or toxin or whatever that they smell on the handlers breath. Wonder if you can train a dog to detect another dogs low blood sugar due to type I diabetes. Now that would be cool. A Service Dog for a Dog. If they can do it for a human I don't see why they can't do it for another dog. Hmmmm.... Taser

	Thanks for all of this wooferful and very useful info Harmony You don't know how much this helps my mom (((hugs))) Just recently diagnosed with Diabetes, mom is having to change my diet and is going to start cooking for me YIPPY!!!! Those links have oodles of goody recipes that are simple and some that mom tried out on me before when she found out that I had allergies to chicken and poultry products! So it won't be to bad to get the hang of cooking for me all over again Have I told you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE hooman food Well I do and I can't wait for mom to get started on cooking me up big batches of yummies for me. She has to get a few things straightened out at the doc's first see how he wants me to get started on it and to slowly ween me off my dogger food! I go to back to the vet thursday and am getting a 3rd opinion and we will see where the doc man wnats me to do and when I can get started! I have to say a big thank you to my good friends the Fl Furs for letting momma boo hoo this morning to there momma!!! You do not know how much mom appreciate's a good ear and a tender heart Your the bestestest around and we woof ya's Thanks for being pawsitive and helping mommy stay focused Now mom has to eat some of that chocolate she got from the blue santa aka easter bunny yesterday Thank you, thank you very much!!! I am sure she needs all the help she can get If you have any recipes for diabetic dogger food pass them along as well too.
