Do any of you have your own Theme Songs? Or songs that your Mom sings to you all the time?

We each have one, and Mom caught herself singing them (yes, OUTLOUD!! Can you say EMBARRASSING!!) on our walk tonight..

YES - OMD, so weird that you should ask! She used to have some shame and sing to us only in the privacy of our own home, but not any more...she'll be walking along at the dog park singing to us...red face oh, it's so embarrassing.
Nelly

Surely you can't- eat that by- yourself?

Oh dear. I'm mortified to say that I have several theme songs sung to me by the secretary on an almost daily basis. The music changes (the secretary can make up a "Nelly song" using music as diverse as the Hallelujah Chorus to Someone's in the Kitchen with Nelly (I mean Dinah). And, sadly, my name rhymes with a number of things (smelly, belly, jelly, etc.) So you can see that I am forced to wear a fake nose and glasses anytime I venture out of the house. I suppose this habit would be more bearable if she could actually carry a tune...

Ben

What do you mean- I'm mouthy?

I don't have a "Theme Song" perse, but my lady loves to sing and uses any excuse to make up a song. And apparently, me being a dog is all the excuse she needs. It's really quite embarrassing, sometimes, but I like to see her happy, and she's happy when she sings to me, so I wag my tail and play along.

The things we put up with to make our people happy.

Hmmm. No theme songs here. Although Mommy thinks Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana would be an excellent background song for a video featuring Moi. There are peaceful parts and CRAZY parts and it is highly fitting to my personality.

On the other hand, The Flower Duet from the opera Lakme' is most definitely Arya's theme song. Beautiful enough to lure in the senseless man and then POUNCE! Gotcha!

Why, yes, I am a- Big Dog

Ahem- mine is "Big Dogs", sung to the tune of "Bad Boys". Mom, fortunately, does not actually sing it to me.

She did have a song for Ms. Honey Pie, which was sung to her on her walks. To the tune of "Clementine":

Oh my Darling, oh my Darling
Oh my Darling Honey Pie
You are found and loved forever,
Oh my Darling Honey Pie

Ma was always startled to realize someone was nearby and could HEAR her! little angel

Mommy sings me the 'Mister Golden Ben' song sung to the tune of 'Mister Golden Sun'. I must say, in the privacy of our own house, I snort when she sings to me, and cuddle up for extra scritchies. When we're strollin down the street, it's just plain embarrasin.

Um, excuse me Dex, but I think mine is the worst, thankyouverymuch.
