In my opinion for any art work to belong to the dogs- you set down pans of paint and let them do whatever- walk, roll, plop their tail in it, etc. Then let them at the canvas. Then and only then will it be the Dog's art work. In the 1960's we had a cat show us it's artistic talent. When no one was looking while we were painting a room in Ming Orange (a burnt orange color), our all white Persian cat descided to try atr work. It walked thru the roller pan and got paint on it's feet and fluffy tail and then decorated the beige carpet!!! Oye Vay, was that a riot. Getting the paint off the cat was a real riot! But it truly was the Cat's art work!

Yes I was disappointed, I didn't like the art challenge at all, I think that was just stupid. And I agree w/ the poster that said it would only truely be the dog's artwork would be to set the paint down and let the dog's go crazy! This was just not about that dog's at all!

I am not disappointed about the outcome, I think the right person went home, and it's not because of her painting (yes, I do remember Beth Joy pointing out Andrew's bows, but don't think this even compares, I didn't even see that as a put down). I was impressed with all the paintings, some more then others (some moreso after hearing their explanations), I liked Beth Joy's, Bill's, Travis's, Tereasa's, I even liked JD's, I liked the chaotic way it was done, whether he ment it or not, I thought being that it was supposed to be a dog, fun loving and energetic! I thought that was a better representative then nice neat and in line (if it was supposed to represent obedience then maybe).

I guess everyone goes home for a reason, but Beth Joy is getting on my nerves. I do remember when she pointed out that andre had little bows on,and then started crying because her dog had clothes and she can't take critizism well.

I guess Preston's owner went a little further than Beth Joy, but still she's is a hypocrite!!
Plus, you have to think: Maybe Preston's owner didn't know Bella Starlett had an issue with paws. When I hear a dog yelping i think it's because it's scared, angry, in pain, or in distress.

I think That Bill & Star are the only true dog & owner personalities. The rest seem to be trying to you their talents instead of the dogs. I was disappointed too. And that Wendy is just plain silenced
Riley-going to Petster.

Maybe Petster- will be nicer to- me

Well...I'm going to be different and say I was not really surprised to see them go.shrug
At first I thought Bella Starlet would, but I actually believe she is a pretty smart dog. Her owner...eh. We'll just leave it at eh. She's REALLY dramatic.
Preston's looks are really unique, but the other dogs did stand out at least a little more than him.
The next to go should be MAYBE Andrew or Bella Starlet?
Not sure.

Next weeks episode looks really interesting with the adorable puppies. I just hope they don't trip up Bill and Star.

Coco-I have to agree with you. My mom feels that doing anything that would cause me to cry in pain would be just plain wrong! I also agree that Beth Joy is a drama queen and we are sick to death of her dramatics. We like Bella but unfortunately we feel her mom is going to ruin it for her. shrug

And also we wanted to ask, is anyone else bothered by JD's chronic lying? Galaxy is fabulous, but last night was the second time that JD claimed his failed attempt to be intentional, and we really don't like liers. If you make a mistake, fess up! Don't insult the intelligence of the judges or the audience and lie about it! thinking

My disappointment is in the judges critiquing the humans ideas/vision or lack thereof. Totally irrelevant if they're judging America's Greatest Dog

They should've judged solely on how each owner challenged their dog and how the dog did with the challenges.

Bill did a great job with Star using several different techniques, but the judges just talked about how obvious his vision was. Silly judges.

What interested us was in how to motivate the dogs to perform a task. That was the only saving grace of dogs painting.

All that said, the right one went home this week.

Have no fear - Bailey Dog is- here!

I think that Beth Joy and Bella Starlette should have gone. Bella starlette is cute, but Beth Joy just gets on my nerves! She cries about everything! And yes, she did call out Andrew with the bows in his hair when the judges got in her tail about dressing Bella Starlette. She's a drama queen and needs to go home next week!dog
