I have a new mystery for us.
Why are there cats?
They irritate me all day long by hanging
out around my home.
I bark and bark to make them go away
but they don't.

I have an idea...but not one I can personally execute.

I feel your pain, Sailor. I have barked myself 'horse' at those four-legged 'sting-me-nosepod' furballs so many times...all to no avail. They just sit there with that condescending look on their fizogs or glare at me with one of those feline 'Yeah? You and whose army?' looks. Then, the minute I get into chomping range, they prime their paw-springs and leap into space - but not before attempting to blind me with their atomic spit!

However, I have seen pictures of some pogs actually touching fur with a cat (gives me the eebie-jeebies, I can tell you!). So, what I'm thinking is, maybe we have a pog on our team that can get close enough to one of them to ask it why it's here?

What do you think? Could we get the answer straight from the 'moggies mouth'? Any brave, fast, smart, non-squeamish takers?

Taz, that's a good idea.
If one of us can just get close enough and long enough
to ask the mooks why they're here.
No cat will let me get close to them.
They always hiss and run away.

I don't understand why he has to bite down on my nose if he isn't in the mood to play. If he doesn't want to, why not just run away & hide? Sometimes he'll actually jump on me too!!! Why do cats have to be mean? I just want to play!!! smile

Mommy tells me to leave him alone if he doesn't want to, but it's so much fun!!! big grin

We have been moving ... I keep hearing mommy tell people that it's a 200 yr old barn conversion..what ever that means!! All I know is the neighbor has chickens and cats...the property has 4 acres...I can't wait to run all over the place..what fun.

Back to the cat issue...my brother the cat..isn't saying much! I will have to investigate the neighbor cat. But they don't seem to like me much. They run everytime they see me..oh well maybe the chickens or the sheep know. I'll ask around...I wondering if the bats know?
