	Can you walk like an Egyptian? Then join us on Friday for a fascinating visit back to ancient Egypt. Theme rides are being developed, and appropriate yummy dishes to enjoy. The Sea Serpent is going to make an appearance as a Mythological Creature -which in fact, he is! I have to go look up some info. to help the beavers plan the rides and games. And Savvy is looking for food and drink suggestions, so please post here. Anything Middle Eastern will do - no hippo meat permitted! ('Cos we invited some hippos and we don't want to offend them!)

	Why, thank you... I do have a few more ideas! I will make Beed Ma'li Gibna Beeda for everypup to enjoy (that's Fried Eggs with White Cheese!) and share my recipe for Raspberry Mint Cairo Coolers with bartender extraordinaire Mr. Jeepers! Then as a special treat: Chocolate Coffee Midnight Dessert! "Midnight at the oasis, Send your camel to bed..." And what about games? Pyramid-building? Still as a Sphinx? Do you think we can get the hippos - or the chihoohas - to do belly dancing demonstrations??!!

	That is why we hired the hippos, sweetheart! Belly dancing - and they got the bellies for it! They are a special troupe straight from the Delta, and we don't mean Mississippi! These are some dancing divas, and we hope all will enjoy the show! The Chihoohaas are planning to do a all pup version of "Antony and Cleopatra" on the garden stage, near the picnic area. No throwing of tomatoes allowed until after the first act! Also your food suggestions sound great. I want me some of that dessert! (oh, and sorry about those Dingo comments! Love ya, babe!)

	That's all right - we Dingos got a bad rap with that whole "A dingo stole my baby" thing... Heaven knows, I hear enough about it around my own house - just this morning, actually. I mean maybe I did help myself to Kirby's food dish but I wouldn't call it "stealing." So back to our party plans ! Baba Ganoush for the Sea Serpent ! And will the hippos wear gemstones in their belly buttons? Do hippos even have belly buttons?

And a late breaking change of program: The Chihoohaas have decided NOT to perform "Antony and Cleopatra" but instead are going to treat us to an all Chihoohaa performance - first in the world! of "Aida" the stunning opera about an Egyptian Chihoohaa Maiden and Her Egyptian Chihoohaa Lover.

	Egyptian, eh? I heard those Egyptians worshipped CATS! Now, I"ve got nothing personal against cats, there are some in the family, you know, but Cat Goddesses? I hope we dont have any of THAT going on for Egyptian night! I am coming as Anubis! Yellah, Yellah! That's Arabic for "come on" or hurry up. Can't wait for Friday. I love those little grape leaf thingies and hummus and mashie mashie (that's stuffed eggplant, filled with all kinds of good things except sausage)..........we can't have any pork, you know that, right? So, I suppose brats are OUT. Well, I'll have to make do. I"m not so sure about the hippo belly dancers. I've heard that hippos are not that graceful and I"m a small guy. Don't want to get to close to THAT show! But ladies with KOHL!
