Star and Bill are our favorites. I know all 12 people absolutely love their pups but there is just 'something' about the bond between Star and Bill cloud 9 And we know shows like this are scripted but you can't script whatever 'it' is about Star and Bill, no matter who the Director is.

And Tillman. What can I say? He is cooler than a lot of people I know! Mom says he's the kind of dog that if he lived next door, you'd invite him over to hang out. Even if you didn't own a dog!

Mom still can't believe she is addicted to a reality show laugh out loud She usually makes fun of people who watch them! Now she is sucked in, too! laugh out loud

Another mystical power of the paw?

Same here Charley. Mom simply wasn't even gonna like this show. One episode later, she's hooked. Power of the Paw. Definitely.

We love Star and Bill!! It's easy to see that they have such an equally loving bond between the two of them. I was happy to see that Star was OK and that they won Best in Show. We'll be rooting for them!

someone posted this in the tv and movies forum

They sent out an open casting call--i found out way back at teh very end of jan or very beginning of feb.

people who went to LA for the casting call had to pay their own way to and from...but also had to commit to (if i remember correctly) it was 3 months in LA w/o being paid or reimbursed (i could be way wrong on the time, it was a long time ago i was sent all the information maybe it was 8 weeks....hmm either way).

I would have auditioned hands down for the show but there is no way i could afford to live in LA for 3 months (h*ll not even 3 weeks) w/o any reimbursement--i have rent to pay and bills etc. So it was only feasible to a small portion of society (could you quit your job for 3 months and still have it? how about 3 weeks?).

We thought everyone on the second-place team did great, and we would have been sad no matter who left. Great job, everyone! cheer
