Just take some time for all the Dogster to figure it out...i was hhehehe going a little crazy ...i load a animted pic and it would move...but later after doing it couple times ..i figure it out that there was a glinch on that from looking in the forums..question..i gave a bunch of anaimted pictures to pals sunday ..will those picture work for them after you fix this problem or do they need to reload the aniamtion..???? way to goway to go

i sure hope the animation problems hurry all the Angels i made picture for are pawmailing me ...telling me they worked in pawmail ..but load them they dont...i told them about the Dogster glinch and it would be fixed...but they still keep asking ...me help HQ fix it....

blue dog HEY! We don't have this cool Blues Clue dog on Catster! Why can't we have a cute one like that????

Some of the explanations are more than we cats can wrap around our paws, and Mama wasn't any help in explaining it to us, either. We're still trying to figure out all the other fancy codes to make all the default stuff go away so we can customize it.

Have any of the changes gone live on Catster? We haven't seen a change other than the "search" option.

Purrs for all the good work you do, HQ!

PS: how come you made a new site for this change when you have the other group for the homepage redesign?

Hi! I love Dogster(you can see that just looking at my name) and the new change doesn't disturbs me soo much, but I just think that it was better before. But I wanna ask you another thing. I didn't knew where to ask so I hope you won't mind if I'll ask here:
How can I delete all my group messages? I was gone almost a month because I had problems with my computer and now I have almost 5000 messages. I wanna start again from 0 because I like reading some of my group messages.
P.S.:I modified my group messaging preferences in the groups where I don't wanna recive messages fom and where I wanna read the messages in the group's page.

Could you help me please?

Each and every change that occurs in life ~ be it on Dogster, at your bank, at work or even gas prices, get resistence. Changes are not perfect but they are always under construction and require patience. I have seen a number of changes on dogster and although I personally hate changes, took it with a grain of salt and a shot of scotch and waited. After all was said and done, everything worked out just fine. You cannot have instant forever so settle with a little at a time until the product or change has blossomed into something that everyone can enjoy. We should at the same time, take a minute or two not to complain but to compliment Dogster HQ for taking time, effort and consideration in attempting to make positive changes and giving us all a forum to expose our beloved pets. 5 PAW job Dogster. Keep up the good work you have our support! Bob, Jake & PITAdog

You're all doing a pawsome job! The format looks great, except for one thing - the nasty search boxes. It seems they make a difference depending on your page decoration or in me and my brofur's case, our themes. My sisters' page themes haven't really been affected. But, I have search boxes on my castle wall above my castle gate and my brofur has them on his viking longship sail. confused Weird! Personally IMHO, whether the search boxes mar anyone's page or not; the pages would look even cleaner if the search boxes were in the left nav. menu with everything else. Just my opinion. We love Catster so much!!!

I think HQ is working on getting rid of the left menu thinking

I liked it better when back in the day we had a horizontal menu up there instead of the buttons. The text size is good, but the buttons are too large.

That's funny that you should mention that HQ is considering the removal of the left nav menu and implementing a horizontal one. I was just thinking the other day that getting rid of the left nav menu would make more sense given the button bars and the left nav menu have basically the same content. That format sounds like a winner to me too. You would be able to see your whole profile content and the ads without having to scroll back and forth (depending on your screen resolution, of course). That would make the sponsors happy and the ads wouldn't be so distracting like the ones at the top of the page. way to go Whatever the final format turns out to be, we'll all get more creative and adapt. big grin
