Do any of you remember the Treat Drive?? OMC that was so much fun I think we all ended up with sore paws after that one!!!

So many memories indeed!!!

I owe my Kitty Kaviar fascination to Simba!! She had sent me a gift from catniptoys.com and inside was a sample of the goodness! I was hooked!! smile

I remember I met Simba shortly after I joined catster. Probably within a day or two in fact. We chatted as we were both tux cats smile And I thought she had a crush on me as she was winking at me! Like non stop! But I learned about her eye, and soon her condition. It was scary as, almost 2 years ago, she didn't have 'much time' but that spunky girl proved us all wrong!

Since she's become one of my besties. We have a tux, meow mix (sans fire bum), tiki bond that will remain furrever smile

Mine is more like a tribute. Simba is my hero because:

1. Her purrsonality is a lot like mine.
2. We both looooooove our mamas.
3. She is 20 years old and still has the cattitude of a kitten.
4. She is funny and smart and everyone loves her.

I will miss you so much, Simba and you will always be my hero!!!!

I wish we had gotten to know Simba better. We see her on forums and in our groups. We have gone to look at her page many times and read the diary and look at pictures. We admire her fighting spirit and tuxedo beauty and the love she and her mommy share. We know how special she must be because she has so many special friends and we are honored to be part of this group to honor such an angel

We did not know Simba but when we saw the post in Boogie and Eve's wedding group we visited her page and left a rosie.

Our mom was so touched to read about the bond that Simba shared with her mom -she could really relate to that. And we all felt so much pain for Simba's mom and how incredibly difficult it must be to let her go after such a long and loving relationship.

We are proud to part of this group and to honor Simba and the wonderful love that she shared with her mom.

I love the bond that obviously exists between Simba and her Mom. I have a similar bond with my Mom. I can only hope that I get to have 20 years with her.

We will miss you so much Simba, and are so glad we got the chance to know you!

Ma and i hab bin reedin Simba's diree fur a few monfs now. We tinks dat Simba bees furry brave. We bees glad dat she an her Mommy bin so close - jus like me an Ma. Simba bees a furry speshil kitty, an an an Jenn bees a furry speshil Mommy. Our hearts break fur Jenn, and we no dat Simba will hab no more pane. Sure bin a lot ob wet eyes round here lately.

Some of our fun memories with Simba were the parties that Monkey used to throw over in the Monkey Business group.

Those were some wild parties, and Simba, Gordy, and Monkey kept us all MOLing!

I have always loved reading Simba's diary.

She can tell a story in such a way that always put me in giggles. It also illustrated how close Simba and her mama are. In fact, it was a while before I noticed that Simba had siblings!!

And even when the entry was about something serious and sad, she managed to put a twist on it that STILL made you giggle. The world through her eye is a wonderful place- full of love and kindness.

Yes, Lancelot, you are so right. I always had to giggle at Simba's stories. She has a way of telling a tale! I especially liked when she would write about how she was teaching her mom a new trick or training her to do something, like give her treats on demand. She is the funniest little girl, and so thoughtful too. She never seems to forget anyone, does she? Always sending messages and rosies. *smiles to herself* I love you, Simmie.
