Does anyone else's dog tuck their hind end "under" (so they look like they've got a humpback), lay their ears back flat across the head and go running about in big circles as fast as they possibly can? We've never had a dog do that before. Gracie is always so incredibly happy doing it, though (thus, the nicknames "Rocket Dog" and "Zoom Doggy").

Hi there! Our sheltie used to do this when he was a puppy (we called it "puppy crazies," and we've seen other young dogs do it... JD has a lot of energy but seems to use it up throughout the day, so we rarely see him do this... but it's certainly normal! Say hi to Gracie for him!

Hi! I/we haven't been on Dogster for quite awhile (as you can probably tell.) Sounds like a "fun run" to me! I know I love running around chasing Chucky-the-Beagle, and letting him chase me. He can NEVER catch me, since I run like the wind. This makes him cranky and he bays REAL LOUD!! Now, we have a NEW little brother; he is the size of a C-A-T and came from Daddy's boss, who couldn't keep him. His name is Charlie and he is a RATTERRIER. He runs just like you said, only his tail is a little stumpy thing, so he doesn't tuck it under his legs. He is a MAJOR PAIN!
