My AB's have passed over 5months ago, they lived to 14 and 15yrs, quite healthy. Once your puppy is six months old as an AB they don't need the extra protein in the puppy food, feed them a regular adult food, just make sure no BHA, BHt, or dyes, Diamond was being recalled a few years ago because dogs were dying from some of the ingredients, I found with my bullies that if I gave them 1 and 1/2 cups to 2 cups of dry in the morning with 2 full tablespoons of organic yogurt mixed in and the same dry in the evening , with whatever meat I ate for dinner mixed in they did great, also I buy Glucosamine Chondronitin with MSM (At Walmart), I take one every morning and give one to the dogs, starting at about 8 months it really makes a difference with their joints as they get older, my 15 yr old didn't have to have any help physically or medically to get up and around until the last 3 months of his life.
