I heard it is almost impossible to have more than one L'hasa Apsos in a home for they can become aggressive and jealous. Is this true?

Hi, Kibbles. You're so cute!

I live in a 2 Lhasa household. The other Lhasa is my sister. As long as she knows the hierarchy (Mommy, then Daddy, then me, then her) we get along just fine.

We have a cousin who also lives with another Lhasa, and my human mommy grew up in a household with 5 Lhasas, without interdog aggression or any "jealousy". So, I think it depends on the Lhasa. Me, I'm not really the jealous type, except when it comes to my Mommy.

Hi Kibbles, I live with Milo who only joined our household when I was 4 and he was 3 years. We really get on very well and I love playing with him. the only time Mummy separates us is when it's eating time. Milo eats in the kitchen and I eat in the lounge. At bedtime I do not like him on the bed as he does not settle easily and is a little agitated so he sleeps in a big comfy basket next to the bed. Having 2 Lhasa's is just fine in a family and I am much happier having a mate. In fact I have just had 7 pups four days ago, it will be the first and last litter for me, but they are lovely.

Hello! We have a two lhasa home also. They get along beautifully! You could have 10 lhasas or any dogs for that matter living happily together! You just have to be the boss and don't allow any nasty beavior. Two lhasas together is a fun thing!

We, too, have 2 Lhasa's and they get along beautifully. Of course, they know momma is the boss and there's no ifs, ands, or butts about it. They love each other and protect each other too. They are very funny when they get to playing and running around, very comical....we've not had any problems at all, they got along great from day one!!!

We have two male Lhasa's who are inseparable,
They play, bath (each other, nice for me- they keep each others ears and eyes clean-which of course i still do as well),eat and sleep together.
Cosmo is 3 1/2 and Einstein is 10 mos. I do recommend bringing your dog with you when adopting. Cosmo didn't like a pup from a different litter but was crazy about Einstein. They love walking side by side.
Cosmo didn't really play with toys till we brought Einstein home (he will actually fetch-amazing if you knew Cosmo) He is so much happier.
I got Einstein as a Birthday present from my husband in September (and Cosmo is our furry child so he had to come of course ) but it worked out being great for me and Cosmo.

There are three Lhasas in our home, myself, Butch, the "old man", Dancr, who is 2 years younger than me and Teagan, Dancr's daughter. We do tend to get a bit aggressive at times (Dancr BITES!), but no more than any other dog. LIke anyone, we have to set our pecking order, then we're fine!
