My apologies. I did promise more contests and prizes, but after a few really horrible experiences with giving away handmade items here on Dogster, I've decided not to do these contests again.
They were a lot of fun, but I put a LOT of time and effort into all the handmade things I create. I also sink a lot of expense into the yarns and into postage. Whenever I hear no response from the person I've gifted the item to, or whenver someone writes to me telling me that it's not quite the color they would like best, can I redo it...it really hurts. I was also very upset by the way some people reacted to the way I ran the Triwizard Cup. I tried SO hard to make it fair, but some of the nasty pmails I got really put a damper on what should have been a fun thing.
My life and career are very stressful, and the last thing I want is for my release to become stressful too. That's why, after careful thought, I've decided not to go through with the contests again this year. My feelings were really hurt after the last couple of times I gave things away, and if I want to feel unappreciated and used I get that at work every day  .
I know I promised earlier that I would do it, but unfortunately my bad experiences with giving things away on this site far outweigh the good ones. |  |  | |  |

I completely understand where you are coming from though, nobody wants Dogster to be a stressful thing.
