I go for a 30 minute walk every morning with mommy and a 45-60 minute walk in the afternoon with daddy. We also do some training sessions every night for about 15-30 minutes. I love walks and it is so much fun to explore the world.dancingcheer

It varies for me, but basically...

10-15 minute potty power walk in the morning.
Mid-afternoon dog park romp
Before dinner 20-30 minute walk
Before bedtime 10-15 minute power potty walk in the evening.

Kinda iffy on how this is going to fit in.. I recently got a part time job (Petsmart!) so I'm going to have to figure out a new schedule..shrug

Gunner, Congrats on the new job! I just got a new job too! We are totally going to switch up our schedule too. I don't have to be out as early in the morning, so I am going to try to do Chipper's longer walk in the morning. It is going to be tough to get into a new routine after 2 years of the same old routine. But, it will be good for all of us. dancing

I go to the dogger park a few times a week weather permitting and run like crazy sniffing almost the whole 48 acres! we have had so much snow here that outdoor exercise has been very limited this winter.

Well I started my new job! My schedule varies, but atleast I get 2 days off in a row! My shifts are usually 6AM-2PM, but there is an occasional 2PM-10PM thrown in there. So here is our new exercise schedule!

5:30AM - Quick 10-min potty break around my apartment complex.
2:30PM - Quick 10-min potty break again.
3:30PM - Dog park! Lots of running, sniffing, and socializing! Usually we stay there for an 1/2hr to an hour.
5:ooPM - 1/2 hour fast walk in the park.
9:00PM - Quick 10-min potty break before bed.

On my days off we are usually up around 10:00AM (hey, I love sleeping in!) We go straight for an hour walk in the park. After chores are done around the house, then it's DOGPARK TIME!! For however long we want to stay there. cloud 9

Wow Toby, you have a dog park that's 48 acres? That would be sooooooooo cool! Our dog park here is not even one acre! With a really low fence, and Mummy & Daddy are afraid my sister George will jump it!

My mom takes me walking 3 times a day. But up here in the snowy/icy northeast, the time varies depending on the weather. Yesterday was very rainy and windy so our walks were cut short (I have a "thing" about getting wet. Mom calls me "her highness" when I get fussy about this. Hmmph.) Anyway, there were so many puddles to have to maneuver around! eek

My mom did get me a new toy recently. It's a soft, fuzzy frisbee. It squeaks. She'll tether me (a very long one. We don't have an entirely fenced in yard and I tend to get, ahem, distracted when there's a cat, squirrel or bird around) in the yard and I get a chance to run around. We don't have a dog park here, yet. The powers that be are discussing creating one in a local park. That would be cool!

We do have a long living room and my mom will toss my toys so that I can get some active time in the apartment. My mom says it must sound like a herd of buffalo running back and forth to the people who live downstairs. Not my fault if they think a kitty is a better pet than a dog shock laugh out loud

I know my mom is thinking of getting a "Walkydog" or something similar to attach to her bike so that I can get some "running" time while she rides (does that seem fair?)

Hey Chloe, the walkydog sounds like a great idea! Your Mom will be getting exercise too by riding her bike as well smile My Mom would really love to buy a bike and have me walk along side it, but she's too scared I might get ran over because I am so small.

Hey Gunner!

With the Walkydog, you are positioned away from the wheel and (hopefully) wouldn't get run over (yikes!) eek Hopefully my mom will practice in our parking lot before we go to the park or on the bike trail.

My mom belongs to a cycling website where she found some of the other ideas for taking me along while cycling:
