Yay! I'm so happy my invites are working!!! I think Lily had a great idea when starting this group. I always have a hard time finding other little dogs to play with, so having an organized play date once or twice a month in the tri-cities would be pawtastic!

So...why don't you share a little about yourself so we can all get to know each other better!

thank you for the invite maddy! i think this is a wonderful idea... Even though Ebby's never really been socialized with other dogs other than bear and gunner and a few others that have come into the house, im hoping to be able to take all 3 to the park this summer!

Hello everyone, I am so glad you joined. I think it will be great to have play dates, by this summer Lily should be able to run again, I am very excited about her being able to play with dogs of her own size. Fred I am sorry you are sick best of luck to you, hope you feel better soon.

I'm so excited there's a Mid Michigan group! My husband and I have lived in Essexville since June and we still feel like strangers here!
Lulu has been with us for 2 weeks and I want to make sure she gets socialized with dogs and especially people/kids. (We're thinking of having children in the next couple years) Our big outings so far have been to see family and go to the pet store.

Since I'm a new pet owner around here, can any of you recommend any useful businesses? (groomers, boarding, obedience classes, etc) So far we've had her groomed at PetSmart in Saginaw and I thought they were decent.

You're just up the road from me! I live on the east side of Bay City near the dog park.

Businesses...well, I've heard good things about Bay Animal Hospital on Center Ave (near you). Pet Supplies Plus is a fun outing, and they don't sell live pets. Soldan's on Wilder does sell birds, fish, and small critters but they're a nice store for some natural dog treats and toys. Precious went to the groomer located in the front of Kaybee's K9 Training (on Johnson and Woodside) and they did a great job. I can't remember their name, but Kaybee's is where we took our therapy dog testing too!

Now if anyone can find a flyball team in the area we'd be so excited!
