 |  |  |  | hmmm...not too sure. I think the main thing is once the dog shows balance on the ball while you hold it to attempt to slowly let go of the ball to see how his balance is with no hold..I think the walking forward to make it move may come a bit naturally??  
Another thing Simba learned..is to jump on top of a small bucket (while it's turned upside down). I just read an article that it's called the elephant exercise..as the big circus elephants used to balance on similar structures during their show.
I just shaped it by click/treating any movement on the bucket. One paw. Then two paws...in less than 5 minutes he just jumped up and balanced on all fours!
Look up trainer Ron Watson (he's a disc dog guy) he has some interesting training videos I've seen...I think his company is called Pawsitive Vybe...based out of Michigan. I vaguely remember seeing his dog balance on an exercise ball... |  |  |  |  |
