OK you Joyriders, what kind of car do you travel in??? And if you have a special license plate what does it say (especially if it is related to the car).

Our car is a 1984 Nissan 300ZX. Our tag:

PWSNAZ

get it???

I ride in a Chevy Aveo. My mom had to get it last summer when our Mitsubishi pickup died.
We don't have any specialty license plates on it (my mom have veteran's plates on the pickup) but she just loves to plaster the rearend of the car with bumper stickers!!!! (it's kinda embarrassing but what can we do?)

Kenzie! We think we get it!! Very funny! We have a new Chevie Uplander Van all because of us. Our other car ( a sedan) just wasn't good for transporting the two of us around. Besides that we ate the seat belts and chewed up a few more things. Our license plate is not funny at all. It's 744 KNN. (someone in the prison making our plate must have been on to 'kennel' however) Hey! Let's look for funny dog plates and post them here! One of these days we'll get creative and change ours. cooper and clem

Hi Cooper - the Uplander has LOTS of room. I can see why you have one. Cheri traveled to UKC agility nationals with friends in an Uplander in 2006. 3 people and 3 dogs and luggage and crates and chairs and coolers and stuff and still plenty of room. Mom is looking at small SUV's but she plans to keep the Z car even if she buys something because it is a classic and is a good car.

I made a mistake on our license place in my post - it is 8PWSNAZ!!!

Mom figured that the Z would not be transporting more than 2 dogs - ever!! LOL

Hmm. We have to figure this out. We need to post those K9 license plates somewhere on our JoyRider page where they're noticeable. We'll work on it. And, we do like our Chevie Uplander. Our patti can stop the car and walk to the back, get our leashes and gear and then open the sliding door. Very efficient. Traveling to shows and herding events is much nicer now. We love it! Only thing is the windows are dark and kids don't see us anymore. That's kind of sad because Cooper is The Shaggy Dog and kids would get pretty excited when they saw him. Clem (and Cooper too)

I ride in an old 1994 Geo Metro. Dad has driven it to Alaska 10 times now and it has 256,000 miles logged on the odometer. The car is starting to show its age though as we just had to have the clutch replaced and the wheel bearings and tie rods gave out on our last Alaska trip. Our license plate reads IDITROD. Dad has hung onto it this long mainly because he loves the 50 mpg but he`s considering buying a Subaru Outback as we don`t think this car can survive another Alaska trip.

That's a terriric license plate, Smiley and very dog related since the Iditarod represents the famous Balto and the other sled dogs who brought much needed diptheria medicine to the children of Nome Alaska in the early 1900's. Balto is our hero! We're hoping that your new car comes through for you soon so you'll have safety and assurance. 50 mph has been pretty good though. In the meantime, since our Patti is an artist, she thinks you should take the current vehicle and paint it up with Alaska! Balto! Iditarod! Dogster.com! and free splashes of paint. It would be a really fun car for all to see! Or you could paint 'travel stickers' from everywhere that car has been including Lake Superior! Fun and not very expensive! cooper and clem
