 |  |  |  | We like visiting as a group too, because there's more interaction, and some volunteer's strengths and weaknesses dovetail nicely with others. (Mokey the young therapy cat, for example, became nervous when somebody with Parkinson's was very agitated; the dogs on the team were not at all bothered.)
Mokey, at 11 months old, is STILL learning ... most of the time he's very good. This past Saturday he sat in one woman's lap quite calmly for several minutes. Usually, however, he's still a bit better if I'm holding him out for people to see. I think he will develop more confidence as he gets older - Muppet didn't sit on beds or on laps until she was nearly two, although she started later (at just over a year), he started when he was 7 months old....
