I posted this is another group, but wanted to see the responses of my boxer friends........

Ok so when it rains or snows...Mom makes me wipe my feet. She puts a towel down ( we have hard wood floors) I sit on it as soon as I come in the door and lift my paws one by on so she can wipe them. She seems to think it is cute, I just think it is annoying.
Anyone else have to do this? red face shrug

Yes, but I usually make mom chase me first. That's very nice of you to sit down right after you come inside. I figure if I can wipe my feet off on the living room rug first she won't make me do it.

hi Layla wave yeah .... my mom keeps an old towel in a basket by the door for muddy wet days shrug i'm with Howie ..... i would rather race up the stairs & run around the house to clean them off . snoopysnoopysnoopy

We make a run straight thru the house for a leap onto the couch with muddy paws. Then they have to clean your feet, vacuum the floor, AND wipe the couch down. way to go

I like to head straight for the bed when I'm wet. It's a great place to dry off...big grin
But mom's gotten wise and keeps a towel by the door. Now I have to get wiped off before I can get it confused I really don't know why???

Nope! Not yet... but thanks for putting it in Moms head!!! Usually I bolt back in, wet or dirty feet... doesnt matter to me!!! Now when I get my bath... every 3 days... I lick my feet constantly... no matter how much she tries to dry them for me... one day she took out a thingy called a hare (?) dryer , and being I am not a rabbit I didnt think it was for me. That noisy thing went off and i went scrabbling for shelter under the bed. Like I said, thanks for putting it in her head... now she will be tackling me at the back door to get to my paws. big laugh

We have to do that too. I stand still and let mom lift each of my paws but Daytona wants to run and puts up a fight with mom.

our mom makes us sit at door to have our feet wiped, when its muddy and wet outside. if its muddy she has a bucket with warm water in it to wash the mud off our paws, At first neither one of us liked it and Brewski kept trying to drink the water Yuck!, but now we are use to it and just let her clean our paws, so we can get back in the house where its nice, warm and cozy.puppy
