Just wanted everyone to know that I've opened a dog park to meet & greet!
My name is Ballou (I'm the kinda shy one!), my brother Buckley and I are Native Texans and live in Magnolia, Texas (right outside Houston). I love chasing birdie & butterfly shadows and hate when its cloudy!!! NO SHADOWS! I do like to chew things up but only in moderation! My brother Buckley, in my opinion, is ADHD. NEEDS MEDS! He drives me crazy but he's my bro and littermate, so you just have to deal. I hope everyone can come & play & share crazy stories. I have a few of my own!

Hi! I,m Merlin I live in columbus ohio and I am 5 and1/2 years old.I was rescued by my daddy and ma-ma from a mean mean daddy and ma-ma when I was 5 months old. I am VERY shy and don't trust many people but I have come a long way 'cause I know that my parents love me soo much. I have a little bubby Ty who is kinda a pain but he's fun sometimes on the rare occasion that I'm feeling playful. I'm glad to meet you all and think this group is gonna be fun!

Hi! My name is Ty I am 3 and 1/2 years old and I live in columbus ohio (Go Bucks). I was rescued from the pound when i was 9 months old. I was starved nearly to death at my old home(I think they call them puppy mills) and was very aggressive around food. The people at the pound said I couldn't be a good pet and put me in a place called the kill room. A very nice volunteer thought I could be a good pet n saved me. Then my ma-ma found me and brought me home. I've worked real hard an ma-ma says I'm a GOOD boy! I don't even care if my bubby Merlin eats out of my food bowl now 'cause I know that we get plenty of kibble! Thanks for asking me n my bubby to be in your group!

Hi, I'm Oskar and I'm the boss of Jenn & Nathan. I was rescued at 3 months old from a really weird lady. I have a little brother who was rescued from a puppy mill and he's really shy, but I've taught him a thing or 2. Like how to seperate and get in trouble cause Mom can't be in 2 places at once. I like to do stuff right in front of my Mom and then wag my tail, I'm an "in your face" kinda guy. I like to think I'm funny. I live in St. Louis and my job is to teach foster kids the house rules, I am an ambassador for Heartland Weim rescue.

I'm Little Man and I have to put up with that guy Oskar above. I had a really bad start but I've come a long way. I work the sympathy tactic like a pro. My Mom calls me Rogue, cause I'm sneaky. I like to wait hours to get into stuff....usually when Mom's in the shower, she can't catch me then. She does come running out of the bathroom dripping wet to try and catch me sometimes, but I know she's coming and sit on the couch and look innocent. I was one of Mom's foster kids after I was saved from the puppy mill, she ended up keeping me.....now I live in the lap of luxury. way to go

I am now almost 5 months old and my vet Dr John says I am all ears and legs party I like swimming at the beach, retrieving my stick, suckling my duckie and cuddling with mum and dad. Hi! I'm Alice. My mom and dad found me at a shelter where I had been abandoned by my old people for some reason. Mom fell in love with me at first sight and dad brought me home because anything mom wants, mom gets if dad possibly can. She doesn't ask for much so it works out okay with them. They don't know anything at all about me except that my old owners never came to get me, even though the shelter people called them and called them. It's okay though. I love my new family! They have a girl who looks like them who runs and plays with me and then we both lay down on my bed and take a nap. She gives me hugs all the time and sneaks me treats but don't tell mom and dad. shh Dad throws the ball with me and takes me for rides in his truck. Mom takes me for walks and hugs me and tells me I'm pretty. I love my family and they love me right back...all except for that cat.

Auggie Doggie here, everyone. Everyone thinks I am the cutest dog on the planet. The nice folks at Starbucks and Walgreen Drive thru's love to give me treats. I make my mama crazy because I am strong willed, and she needs to learn patience - or maybe how to be more consistant - she confuses me. I think some professional training might help her. I certainly enjoy being with her; matter of fact, I have to be with her CONSTANTLY or I am not happy. Will I ever calm down? Is it just a puppy stage or is it a breed trait? Good thing that I am cute... Thanks for the invitation to join this nice group. Talk to you later.

Gucci and Calvin are my to weims, two rebels more than willing to join the revolution!!
Had a huge laugh when I saw t the group´s name. That is so Weimaraner. First they take our hearts, than our sofa, than our bed, than ... the world!!

I´m 35 years old, e-Marketing Manager and Weimaraner addictd.
Years ago I´ve fallen in love by two Weims that I breffly saw passing by. Than last April I gave the leap of faith and bought Gucci my first weimie. As you know, one is never enough, so in August I gave the leap on insanity and got Calvin.

Gucci was almost 6 months when I bought her, and Calvin was almost 2 months. Way to early, but all went fine.
The female was neutered at 8 months and Calvin will be when he´ll reach 10 months.

They live in a flat. A 3 bedroom flat! Yes they do.
They go out at least 45 minutes before I go to work in a park behind the flats. Once I get home - 10 hrs later - I take them for a hour and a Half walk/run in a nearby partk. Then, before going to bed they go out again for half an hour.

Of course, on the weekend we all go for huge walks on the countryside or to the beach.

Gucci and Calvin are lovely Weims.
Gucci is more independent, very very alert to everything, very protective and if Weims are full of energy, Gucci is hyper energetic. She just loves run and run and run in circles or straight on chassing something!!
Calvin ... well ... his middle name is Zen. I am sure that says it all.
Much more calmer than Gucci, have a huge, huge patience, very inteligent and a drop dead gorgeous Weim.

So ... that´s it!
