	Annie asked that we write a little about ourselves in order to get to know each other better. So I decided to start a thread cause I think it's the easiest way to read all the related messages. OK - My name is Molly. I live with my two brothers, Sparky and Tucker. I am going to have a new sister, Katie, in December so we will be a four chi household! OR a full house as mommy says! Oh we also have a kitty, Harley, but she doesn't like us too much. I love my family! We are a spoiled bunch with very different personalities but we get along great most of the time. I am the smallest but I can really start some stuff! Mommy thought I was going to be a "princess" but I'm really not! I love to lay in the sun and I also like to bring in sticks and leaves and chew them up on mommy's rugs! We all sleep in bed with mommy and daddy - cuddle up and keep them nice and warm. We love to take walks (except when it rains - so yeah, walks this time of year are kind of few and far betwwen) and go to play days. We have a wonderful group of friends that we go to play with - a lot in the summer time - and it means we get to pile in the car and ride for a little while to get there. We have car seats so we can nap or look out the window on the way. Lets see - our mommy cooks for us too. She makes us chicken or turkey and veggies and rice. She is very careful about our treats and chewies and toys. So you can see she loves us very, very much. I guess that about covers an introduction to our family! I can't wait to read about all of you! 	What a lovely family you have! Has your mommy always loved chi's? How did she come to want so many? I have two other doggies in my household. One is a large shepherd mix doggy, she is older (13) and she very kindly tolerates me bossing her around. The other is a Boston Terrier. She was used to being the small, spoiled dog before I arrived on the scene, so we have a rivalry going on. I am the first chi my mommy has ever had! Mommy says she can understand wanting lots and lots!!!

	Annie, Mommy didn't know anything about Chi's until she got Sparky (part Chi part Yorkie) She was looking for a yorkie and found Sparky instead. That's when she got involved in a play group for Chi's so she could help Sparky get socialized. And she fell in love with Chi's then. We have such great personalities and we are so much fun. She thought that Sparky needed to have company while she was at work and the kitty, Tony, was getting old and that's who Sparky had for company then. So she started looking for another Chi and found Tucker when he was only 2 days old and he came home when he was 8 weeks old. Then she learned more and more about Chi's by being in the play groups and met Molly when she had a different name and family. When Molly needed to find a forever home, Mommy wanted her so bad - she wanted a little girl Chi - and so Molly came to live with us. Then she decided to try and rescue a Chi in need, but couldn't find one in our area. And Molly's dog mommy had her last litter of babies and there was a little girl, and so Katie will be coming to live with us. Mommy said that is the last one to live with us permanently. She would love to have a whole bunch, but daddy says no way! And really we all love attention so much, that four is going to be plenty. We do hope that we will be able to foster Chi's waiting for a forever home someday. She is working on that part. She says that Chi's are the best breed around and wonders what took her so long to find that out! Isn't it funny how things work out sometimes?

	Molly, Mommy and I loved your introduction, you're mommy sounds like my mommy with the whole thing about making our food and letting us sleep in bed with them. You're such a cute chi and I bet Katie will be too, let us know when you get a page and pictures up for her... we'd love to see her. Well I can't wait to see you and your family around more in the group, take care Molly and family. Now for my introduction: Hello! My name is Gizmo and I'm 3 years old. I live at home with my wonderful mommy, my Gran-mom and Gran-dad, my two fur-siblings Ruger and Sadie(they're hounds) and occasionally my Uncle-J. I have a daddy too but he doesn't live with us yet, he will next year after him and mommy get married and get their own place, then we'll be our own little family. My mommy grew up with great danes which as you know are a gigantic breed but after seeing the movie Legally Blonde with the chihuahua Bruiser she instantly fell in love with the small breed and begged Gran-mom to get her one. Mommy did tons of research on the breed to prove she was responsible and could handle raising a tiny pup. So for Christmas of 2004 my mommy got her wish (me), it was love at first sight and we've been inseparable ever since. Everywhere mommy goes I go, if mommy goes to work so do I, if mommy goes for a drive I go with, if mommy goes on vacation then I go on vacation. I'm not like most dogs in fact mommy says I'm a human trapped in a dogs body, she thinks this because I love to take baths and I love it when mommy drys me off using the blowdryer, I also like to watch tv with mommy like literally watch tv and I sleep on my back with my front paws either at my sides or over the covers and I sometimes snore too just like a person. Mommy and I have had 3 magnificent yars together and we are looking forward to many many more great years to come. I'm mommy's first chi and according to her definately not her last, she wants to have several chis in the near future some that are from me if all goes well, she still wants to go back to raising danes too so we'll be a household of the largest and the smallest dogs imaginable, I think she's nuts but I still love her. Mommy sometimes finds it funny that she fell in love with both the largest dog she could find and the smallest . 	Gizmo! What a great introduction! Thanks for sharing. I do have a page!! In fact mommy posted new pictures of me today for my 5 week birthday. My future mommy is very lucky to be friends with the lady that has my dog mommy, so she gets frequent updates and photos in between visits. Be sure and stop by and check out how fast I am growing. I may be small- but i'm the boss

	Hello everyone, well my name is gizmo and i live in my house with my chi sister Tiki, my min pin sister Codie, and my two labbie sisters brandy and haley. I also have a piggy brother named Porkchop and a human sister who is going to be five next month. We have an iguana, turtle and fish too but they are caged and don't bother us so we don't really notice them much except for when mommy feeds them then we hope the scraps of lettuce fall to the ground, BOL. As you can tell its a full house and feeding time gets a little crazy but mommy spoils us all rotten. She says we are all so different from one another, boy is she right. I'm the littlest but the toughest in the house, I can even scare my 120 lb labbie sister away from the food dish, pretty good for a 3 pounder, BOL. Me, my sisters and brother love sun spots so we tend to fight over them alot, but I found that laying between my two large sisters makes it even warmer and toaster. My black labbie sister soaks up all the sun, she is like a big giant heater, BOL. Well enough about me, can't wait to read all about you guys.

	Gizmo I love the picture on your page of your whole pack lounging in the sun. That is super cute. Well, now I'll share my story, at least what momy knows of it: Mommy knows I lived with a "backyard breeder" in Ohio. She doesn't really know if I was a pet or property. What she does know is this lady died and she wanted all her animals put down at her death. A neighbor heard that and came and snatched up as many of us as he could, thank God! We were taken to a shelter in Ohio, but that place was full. They put out an SOS and a rescue in Michigan responded. A nice lady named Liz came and got me and drove me home where she sheltered me. Mommy heard my story through a friend of a friend of a friend........... Mommy had lost her precious Boston Terrior a year earlier and didn't think she could ever love another dog like that. But she thought, here is a dog who's been through a whole lot and feels lost and empty, sort of like she'd been feeling. She got that gut feeling that we were meant for each other. And we are!! Now she's learning all about how special chi's are and I'm learning how to be a loved and pampered pet. I've come a long way since a few months ago when she got me. Man, we love each other a lot!!!

	I'm April. I was dumped at a kill shelter and rescued by DAAER. I was adopted by my mom as a senior citizen. By that time, my sister, Peanut, was a senior too. I was also spoiled and pampered at my forever home.
