I'm sorry for not contributing much to the group. I really regret to inform PomPals that Bridget went to the Rainbow Bridge on October 15, 2007. I am completely devastated, she was my life. She developed disc disease, and the most deveatating thing to me is that she wasn't even 7 years old. In the end I knew her pain was too great and the greatest gift I could give her was freedom from the pain and suffering. I have cried every day for 3 weeks, but I hope my baby understands my decision. It's the toughest one I've ever had to make.

Yes, you took a painful decission but it was the correct thing to do. You'll find comfort in your memories, our babies may be small in size but they can sure fill someone life completely.

Hi PomPals. I'm doing better, but can't believe the grief I have felt over the past 6 weeks. Bridget was so very special and was a wonderful addition to my life. I couldn't take the empty house any longer, and I have adopted 2 orphan kittens. They are a challenge, but they keep me busy and the cuddles have been welcomed. Thanks so much for your kind words, thoughts and prayers for Bridget.
