Since my Elvis lives int he hipster neighborhood of Williamsburg Brooklyn I'll have to go with Costello however the name was given to her by the person that bought her for me. He was referencing Presley but then again he didn't even notice that Elvis was a girl.

my mom may actually be going to see elvis costello w/bob dylan this fall. fun!

anyway, i loooove to swing from ropes. when i do my hips swing around like elvis presley. that's where my name comes from. smile

Presley because he represents everything "American"...and I was my beau's first "American Girl" and he (the dog) turned out to be a "she"...she was so sickly and bloated that we couldn't really see if she was a girl or boy!!! She weighed under 20lbs when we found her under an abandoned church! my boyfriend of less than six months (who is now boyfriend of 11 years) and i named her(him) Elvis because elvis helped bridge many cultures through his music!! elvis is such a sweetie!

When I was nameless for 2 days, I started to howl at 2 am. My mommy said,"He's like a lil' hound dog!" And since my granpa loves The King-my name was inevitable!

Presley...We live 30 minutes from his birthplace Tupelo, MS. Not to mention the fact that ...He's nothin' but a hounddog! As a side note I would like to add that my husband actually has his own views as to why he wanted to name him Elvis. He's a Miami Vice fan and you know Crocket had a pet (crocodile) named Elvis.
