	Let's have a scarey story writing contest! I think this will be howls of fun! Every pup and kitty ... Write a scarey story for Halloween. Entries must be in by Oct. 24th. Post them here. Then from noon on October 25th thru midnight on Oct 30th everyone can vote! Winner gets a star (do they have those on catster since we have cat members? and 1st runner up gets a rosette. I will start another thread for voting purposes. Sound like fun ... get your creative juices to work on this!

	My scarey story! Once there were 3 pups playing together. Me, Buddy, and Tigger in a field chasing butterflies and grasshoppers. When suddenly they heard this awful whining sad noise in the distance. And they saw the tall grass moving. Something was coming near them. Off in the distance they heard rumbling thunder and a bat screech (or was it a human scream?). Oh my, I thought - What could it be?? - getting closer and louder! Tigger and Buddy were so scared. I knew it was up to me to save them! I started barking and growling as it rapidly got closer and louder! When suddenly out pounced ...... Oh that darn husky ... it was Smokey!
