Spike's quilt is done! Mama will be posting pics of it tomorrow.

I am planning on sending the quilt to Spike this Thursday.

If you would like to write a note to Spike to include with the quilt, p-mail it to me, with "The Spike Project" in the subject line of the p-mail, and I will print them all out and put them in the package with the quilt.

By the way.....the quilt is totally, totally pawsome! You guys all did a great job! Spike is gonna be so excited!

OK....change of plans. Instead of sending ME your notes for Spike....how about if everyone waits until Monday, Oct. 8 (Canadian Thanksgiving) and bombards Spike directly with p-mails, rosettes, etc. I think it will be more meaningful if the notes come directly from Spike's fans....and he will love to get a bunch of p-mails and stuff from us all on the same day!

OK...pictures of the finished quilt are on the group page, below all the individual squares. The first pic has the wrong caption, and Dogster wouldn't let me change it....but it is a pic of the just the "main" part of the quilt, with all the squares everyone did. Then there is a pic of the full quilt, then a pic of the back, and a close up pic of the border fabrics that we used around the outside of the "main" quilt.

Dogster only lets us put low resolution pics on the group page, so if anyone wants to see a high resolution pic, p-mail with your e-mail address, and I'll send you a better quality pic so you can see how totally pawsome it really is!

Spike is gonna LOVE this! You pups ALL did a fantastic job!

The plan is to FedEx the quilt to him....so he should have it by the 8th. But just to be safe, we should probably wait until we see something from Spike, confirming that he has gotten it.
