Mom was wondering if anyone else gets to go to work with their parents?

Mom even created a group to share ideas for doggies at the workplace, anyone else do the 9-5 grind?

It do!!! I go with mommy to work for 1 whole week and then the next week, I stay home with daddy. He works from home. In mommy's office, we have to whole room to ourselves. I take up 1 corner of the room. I have fun rooming around the office but mommy tells me I should stay in the room.

That sounds great Rusty! You sound very lucky.

PS - I am so glad to see some activity in this group. I was shocked when I joined that there wasn't lots happening. Hope this starts a trend!

Mom wishes I could come to work with her! There are lots of other nice dog people in the office, and sometimes Mom thinks she should get them all together to ask if we can have dogs at work, or at least, once in a while. But the woman Mom works next to doesn't like dogs AT ALL so that probably wouldn't work.

Mom would like to get a job at Dogster HQ, and then I could go to work with her every day! snoopy

You know, maybe we should try to make a list of companies in the Bay Area that allow dogs at work, and then we know where to look for jobs!

I went to work with Mom for the first time today. I didn't really like it because the copy machine is loud and it scares me. When mom is at the computer I get to nap on her lap and thats great but I think it bothers her a little when shes up and about and I'm all frazzled.

People at work also have mixed feelings about me being there so I don't know if I can keep going. I would LOVE if mom got a more dog-friendly job!!

Mom was thisclose to getting a job where I could have gone to work with her. Not only that, but it was near our house, and we could have walked to work! We were really disappointed when they gave the job to the other person.cry

i get to go to work at Daddy's office from time to time. his office is in a building owned by a dog-friendly landlord, so lots of people bring their dogs on occasion. clients bring their dogs too.

cajun used to be able to go to work with mom. mom is a mental health coulselor at a home for mentally ill. we had lots of fun, then one of the people that lived there had a dog that was very scared, and he bit someone. I wasn't allowed to go back after that. mom tells me that people still ask for me and want to play. I miss going there. Mom says if i do good and i get my therapy dog certificate and badge i can go back! I'm trying really really hard! I know lots of stuff, but sometimes i get a little excited when i meet new people.

Lulu and I do! Daddy takes us to work 3 times a week, on BART! And he works from home once a week and the other one day we get to go to daycare to play.
There are 2 other dogs in daddy's office, Betty and Millie. There are more of us (4) than there are humans(3)!
