I don't remember my real doggie Mom, but I do know my human Mum that takes good care of me. Since I can't talk to her I thought I would add this poem today.

Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 11. I have to go to the Vet kennel while my Mum travels to see her Mom. So I will not be here to send you this quote on Sunday.

Yea! The weather is finally nice @ NW Iowa so I can go play in the grass with my tennis ball with Mum. Cause I hurt my back a few years ago, she does not make it bounce too high so I don't jump up.
Instead she rolls my ball. I love to play fetch my tennis ball.
1 ball in my mouth @ a time!

I sat on a hillside in our yard Saturday afternoon & watched Mum plant flowers. It was a glorious afternoon. I was not bored watching her plant Marigolds & New Guine Impatients.

I am so glad my Mum was worthy of my devotion yesterday!
She saw on TV we were to have a terrrible rain & thunderstorm coming plus a tornado was half hour away!!

So before she left for work she left the door to the basement open in case I felt I needed to get down there due to the thunder.

I have trouble getting back up the stairs, but she felt it better that I went to the basement in case the tornado hit then the problem of having to get me back up the stairs later.

No tornado but lots of thunder & lots of heavy rain & lots of strong winds.

I was there to greet her when she returned home @ noon.
I'm glad she cares about my safety 'cause I care about her & Da.
