Some pups have already posted information about themselves in August 27, 2007 thread. I thought it would be nice to have this thread for easy access to information about our pals and the cool things they are doing.

I'll copy and paste the entries other pups have made in the August 27th thread. But for any new pups, pawlease let your new friends know a little about you and what you're doing these days.

Here is my post from the first thread big grin

Hey guys!

I'm Gio, a 5 year old Sheltie. I competed in flyball for about 2 years and got my Flyball Master (FM) title from NAFA. I retired last summer and have since started training and competing in Rally-O. I got my RNMCL (Rally Novice Magna Cum Laude) title early this year and am now working on my Advanced title. I passed my CGN (Canine Good Neighbor) test in March and also passed the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog test and am a therapy dog (SJATD) with them and currently visiting 3 different nursing homes and care facilities. I got my Herding Instinct Certificate (HIC) back in June of this year, though mom can't take any credit for that one ... it's all instinct, baby! BOL

CONGRATULATIONS AUTUMN!!
partypartypartyparty

Here is my post from the first thread:
Hi Everypup,
I'm Caffrey - often called Caffers. I live in Milton Keynes, England with my 15 year old Mum. I passed my Bronze and Silver Good Citizens tests with my Mummy in 2006 at the tender age of 8 months. I did all my training for my gold test too, but we couldn't attend the planned test. Our training association said we had to pay £60 for another test so we didn't bother frown Mummy would love to start agility with me but fears she won't have time as she's just starting her final compulsory year of school with all the important exams.

My post from the other thread:

My name is Atticus Finch, but I go by Attie. I'm brand new to all of this. I just passed my CGC exam on Saturday. I'm so excited to get started in the hospitals.

I took Agility beginners and advanced and just this year I took CGC I & II classes. They were supposed to give the exam a few weeks following the classes, but they never set one up. So mom called another evaluator and had me tested. And as you know, I passsed.

Paris' post:

Hi I'm Paris. I'm Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I will be 3 in October. I passed my CGC/TDI last Feb. So far I've been visiting nursing homes and assisted living centers for elderly people. Mom is working on the paperwork so that we can go visit the pediatric ward of one of our local hospitals. Last Friday one of the centers we visit had a dog show. Some of the employees brought their dogs as well as some of the other Therapy dogs that visit them. I tied for Best Named Celebrity! The other winner was my good pal Carrie (Underwood) the Yorkie!

Chloe's post:

Mom being the way she is, looked it up & I received my CGC on 4/18/06 I then practiced Rally-O with the Obedience Club for the upcoming months until Mom left for school that August. Now that I'm with her again we just don't keep up on it because there's not a club around here - I guess we're both the social type! Oh ya, I'm a sheltie & I'll be 4 years old next February.

BTW: My bro, Oreo, also has his CGC - in fact, he still wears his blue & yellow tag on his collar, (because mine broke when I received it the week I was certified). Thank you for the invitation

Crosby's post:

Crosby has his CGC, over the years we have done some tracking, agility & flyball together but have never competed in anything. We just take classes non-stop for fun.
We recently adopted a greyhound & hope to have her CGC in 2008. then on to therapy & hopefully either Rally-O or Obedience.
I teach puppy kindergarten, adult beginners obedience & a CGC class through a local dog school. I also give the CGC test at some local dog shows.
Thanks for inviting me.

Josh's post:

Hi Attie you already know me but i will give a bit about myself for the other pups.
I graduated top of my puppy class and top of my CGC class. When i was younger then a year, so i am a bit Rusty on some of the things but mom has been training with me. Mom's goal is to make me a therapy dog by summer of 08. She thinks i would be best in nuresing homes (even though i adore kids) because i grew up with my human grandpa until i was a year and he had to move into a place that was to small for a little hyper westie like me now i live with mommy but i see grandpa alot! I love old people (BOL) I really do and i love to snuggle with them somtimes kids do get on my nerves but not most of the time!
see ya all later!
